• University of Heildelberg, Germany: One of the first

medical informatics educational program, in 1972.

• University of Paris: Included Medical Informatics teaching

modules in the Human Biology Master’s program, in the

late 1960s.

• Linkoping University of Sweden: the first program offered,

evolving from department of biomedical engineering, in

1972.
