2. Fad diet: A reducing diet which enjoys temporary popularity They are found everywhere along with images of wafer thin women and chiselled men. Its suspected that they are mostly aimed at women. 3. Atkins Diet : Low carbohydrate, 50 % succeed Cabbage soup diet: Very strict ,40% succeed The liquid diet: High fibre, low calorie shakes / juices. 40% success 4. 5 reasons to avoid fad diets. Caption: Its the latest thing, its called the veterinarian diet. 1. They can be dangerous and arent worth it. 2. You will feel dehydrated. 3. You will feel very tired. 4. Serious digestive problems. 5. Malnutrition. 6. 5. Healthy weight loss. Losing weight and keeping it off cant be done over a number of days. You need to make permanent daily changes to your life. Exercise daily take the stairs, walk etc. Trim the fat off meat. Eat 5 fruit and veg a day. Dont skip breakfast!!! - One students and staff a like often forget! Reduce alcohol intake.
