If you are looking for a solution to increase your metabolism, Congratulations! because you

are about to discover some of the most effective ways. But before I mention some of the

ways to increase you metabolism you should know what is metabolism.

Metabolism is the process of converting food into energy which the body can use to move.

To keep the body alive, metabolism requires a certain amount of calories. Many people we

know keep lean and healthy because they have a fast metabolism. But, not to be born with a

fast metabolism doesn't mean you cannot increase it to lose weight. By following certain

habits of exercise and diet you can achieve it.

And now I'll reveal some of the most effective ways to increase your metabolism:

1- Always eat breakfast don't skip it! If you skip breakfast your brain receives a signal that

no food is available and as a defense mechanism reduce the metabolism, and decrease the

amount of calories expended.

2- Make several intakes per day, every time we do ingestion we spend a lot of calories. The

intestine is very long, you need to activate the pancreas, gallbladder, liver, stomach every

time you digest food. If we do digestion 6 times we spend more calories than if we make 3

or 4. The intake should be low in fat, high in protein and fiber.

3- Never eat less than 1200 Kcal per day. Less than 1200 Kcal. is not sufficient to maintain

the basal metabolic rate (what the body needs to breathe, and make other vital functions),

then decreased caloric expenditure.

4- Make several intakes during the day, if is possible fiber foods (fruits, whole grains,

vegetables) this gives work to metabolism. Also if you spend too much time without eating,

when it comes time to do it is more difficult to control the portion.

5- Choose foods high in protein and little greasy, the proteins stimulate the metabolism and

fats.

6- Do some entertaining exercise every day, a short walk, swim or other physical activity or

just stay active! Never let laziness take hold of you.

7- Avoid alcohol, alcohol lowers your metabolism and stimulates the appetite.

8- Green tea is an infusion which also helps to spend calories,as well taking 2 liters of water

per day, if we take 4 cups of green tea per day (no sugar) we are going to spend extra 60

calories.

And finally remember that if you increase your metabolism you'll have more chances to

lose weight but a common mistake that you should not make is to do only one day these

tips. Remember that consistency is an important factor if you really want to increase your

metabolism and have the body you've always wanted.
