Problem Statement

Hospital rooms are dull, especially for kids with cancer, they are limited on things to do and see, so our idea was to decorate their room, to make it look and feel like they are at home.

Page 3: Kicking Cancer With Kids

Specific Goal

We want to be able to help the kids with cancer feel at home, and to raise awareness of all the different types of cancer.

Page 4: Kicking Cancer With Kids

Required Data

We need anything the child wants examples: Curtains, Photos, Picture Frames, Rugs Toys, Blankets, Pillow Covers, Etc.

Page 5: Kicking Cancer With Kids

Root Causes-Barriers:

● Not enough attention and the money are the root causes.

● Hospitals already have a big budget with all the actual medical equipment they have not nearly enough money and time to decorate and buy things for a specific child.

● There are far more “important” issues like car accidents, cancer, and things that need more attention.

Actions already in place...

We haven’t gotten anything yet other than figuring out what we want to do and how we want to do it.

Page 9: Kicking Cancer With Kids

Who is responsible for each step?

Since there is only seven steps i think we should all contribute to all of it.

Checkpoint dates

Hopefully by the end of October we will hope to be sponsoring a child and figuring out what they want.
