resources for prescription drug abuse prevention among teens.

2.  Explain how to best use the interactive PEERx resources for maximum impact.

3.  Identify real-world strategies for integrating the free NIDA resources into existing programs.

•  Increase awareness of the risks and consequences associated with abusing prescription painkillers.

•  Teach interactive refusal skills.

•  Achieve student engagement with the PEERx “Choose Your Path” activity. –  Encourage healthy decision-making and implementation of refusal skills.

•  Mentors successfully complete the program.

•  Through a subcontract, mentors are required to complete an internship.

•  Mentors are required to implement at least one PEERx activity in their assigned school.
