MY STORY
In which the high school valedictorian nearly flunks out of college, is
involuntarily enlisted in the military, survives college, gets an MBA,
starts a software company, sells it on his 28th birthday, moves to
Steamboat, thinks he knows everything, gets divorced, loses all of his
money, gains a new mindset, finds true love, leaves the work-a-day world
behind, starts over, finds true love, creates a lasting plan for success….
…and lives happily ever after.
BEFORE – MERE MORTAL
I was Working 50+ hours a week making $60-75K a year
I weighed 230 lbs.
I took anxiety and depression medicine daily
I had high blood pressure, asthma and severe stress
I was a righteous a-hole who thought he knew it all and
alienated my friends
AFTER – DRAGON SLAYER
I am “working” 30-40 hours a week making A LOT MORE than $60K per
year
I weigh 190 pounds
I take NO MEDICINE on a daily basis and I am stress and anxiety free
I have signed up to compete in the Leadville 100 MTB Race in 2013.
I am the choir director at my church and the chairman of a very
successful charity event
My family has adopted a 50 year old man with Down’s Syndrome who is
“one of the family”
I DO NOT work on most Saturdays or Sundays

I will give $50K annually to charitable causes
