You Can Have Fun in the Sun, Just Do So Safely
Protect yourself while out during the day. Even if it is cloudy or overcast, UV rays can still penetrate light clouds, mist or fog. Use a water-resistant sunscreen rated SPF 15 or higher, and make sure it provides broad-spectrum protection, which guards you from both UVA and UVB rays.

Keep in mind that skin damage can still happen without sunburn, and that SPF numbers are not necessarily proportionate to the amount of protection offered. For example, a sunscreen with an SPF of 15 deflects 93% of rays, while SPF 30 deflects 97%, according to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD).

A great way to multitask your skin management is to use a moisturizer that contains an SPF of at least 15, and apply all over to any exposed skin. Do not forget some often overlooked areas like the ears, the tops of your feet, the back of the neck and the scalp. Be sure to re-apply frequently.

Don’t forgetWater – it is last on this list, but certainly not the least. When skin doesn’t get a sufficient amount of water, it will tend to be dry, tight and flaky. Dry skin has less resilience and is more prone to wrinkling. Hydration is the key to just about every healthy aspect of your life and keeping your skin healthy is no exception.
