Those green eyes that are so enchanting may pose a higher risk of eye cancer. And those with chocolate eyes may have a faster reaction time compared to those with blue eyes. In spite of the different studies that suggest that health risks or physical abilities might be related to the eye color, it's difficult to predict one's health by just basing on the color alone. However, there are some cautionary notes that you may consider about your eye color.

BLUE EYES

people with irises of blue or light-colored tend to be more sensitive to light. This is due to the sparsity of the light-absorbing pigment in the eye. The more pigment there is, the lesser light gets through the iris.

eyes that are light-colored may have an increased risk for cancer. This is because lighter eyes have lesser pigment to protect them from the harmful ultra-violet rays. In this case, people with light iris color need to be more diligent in wearing UV-protected sunglasses. Moreover, though this is not directly related to vision, those with green, gray, and blue eyes tend to be more skinned and are at high risk for skin cancer.

GREEN, GREY, & BLUE EYES

BROWN EYESpeople with brown eyes have a slightly better reaction times when they participate in athletic activities than with light-eyed people.
