Slideshare.net

Think of Slideshare like a YouTube for PowerPoint presentations. You can upload your PowerPoints or Keynotes and optimize the title and description as you would a YouTube video. This makes visually interesting and helpful information that people can find if searching for your topic on the web, or browsing through other presentations on Slideshare. You can showcase your expertise and then provide a link to your website for further information. Slideshare has hundreds of thousands of users daily, so you have more opportunity to be found by your target audience.

Youtube.com

YouTube is the #2 search engine on the internet. Millions of people are on YouTube every day, and spend more time on it that most any other website on the internet. When you have  videos optimized with your keyword phrases, someone can find your video if they’re watching related videos, or if they’re simply doing a Google search. This can be a faster, easier way to get free traffic than trying to get your website to rank. The key is to make a video that’s compelling, concise and useful to your audience. At the end of your video and in the description, you want to direct people back to your website for more information or to get a free gift.

Powtoon.com

This is a very cool tool you can use to make animated videos, either for your YouTube channel or for explainer videos on your website. You can create a video with pre-made characters and music, and make a free short video. Or, you can upgrade your service to make longer videos and get access to more music and templates. This can be a fun and entertaining way to share information with your audience.

With each of these platforms, the most important thing is to have good content. If your information is compelling, any platform you use can bring you traffic. Exploring examples on each of these platforms can give you ideas for how you or your team can use these in your web marketing.
