One way to help encourage that is to reward people for telling their friends about your business and how awesome you are.

Offer a service or product that doesn’t cost too much but has a high perceived value as a referral incentive. (i.e. next discounted photo session).

Be sure and try all the popular outlets like Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumbler, Twitter etc. Facebook is an effective medium to try out, in case you haven’t.

Uploading photos to Facebook and tagging your clients in them is a really fantastic way to get the word out about your business as all their “friends” may see the photos tagged of them.

I highly suggest creating a “PAGE” instead of using your profile, that’s how Facebook prefers you promote your business. I find this is a great way to get exposure.

So post things that your clients like and engage with. Then, when you do post your own work, they’ll be more likely to see it in their newsfeeds and get you
