University

Legal Clinic is a structural separate division of the National Law University Yaroslav the Wise, created as the basis for practical training of senior students. The work of the Legal Clinic is governed by the laws of Ukraine, the statute of university and Regulation of the University Legal Clinic, approved by the Rector of the University.

Programm Supervisor

Viktor Janisch is the head of the Legal Clinic. He is a PhD, assistant professor of civil law №1 and advocate.

Law laudators

Senior students are law laudators of the Legal Clinic. They include in its composition through the competition.

Main mottoRespondere, cavere, agere - a motto that guides the team of the Legal Clinic. In Roman law it covered three different forms of legal activity:• respondere - responding to requests of

private persons on any legal question;• cavere - making the best formulas for

different legal acts (contracts, wills, etc.)• agere - advising on the preparation of claims

and the procedural litigation of the case.

The main tasks of the Legal Clinic• providing opportunities skills practice in

the specialty for students;• providing a free legal advice for socially

vulnerable groups of citizens;• students communication with practitioners

of judicial and law enforcement authorities, other public bodies and local authorities on their activities during the learning process;

• publication scientific works on topical legal issues;

• Cooperation with representatives of public and private agencies and organizations;

• Scientific-practical conferences, seminars and other events on topical legal issues;

• Cooperation with other legal clinics in universities in Ukraine and outside the state.
