First impressions are everything. Right from Day 1 we made each member feel like they were part of our family. We had 1:1 training sessions everyday for the first week and job shadowing with different members of the team for the first month. We even provided a nice welcome binder with personal messages and tips from the team to help our member hit the ground running.

Quarterly events organized by each member of the team (i.e. golfing, karaoke, curling).

We had each other’s back. No man left behind, no finger pointing.

It is very important for Millennials to know how they are making a difference. We clearly mapped out our team’s “business model” using a Lean Canvas.

Benefits:

- Provides clear direction/objectives for team and customers

- Helps executives understand value propositions
