While cutting her teeth in retail Marie realized that

when it came to great stylish clothing for plus size

women, their options were limited. Armed with a

marketing degree, fashion experience, and a passion for

empowering women of every shape and size, Marie

launched the Curvy

Fashionista. With her

fashion sense and

knowledge of the

curvy body, Marie

quickly rose as a trusted

expert and voice for plus

size fashion. “I want to

bridge the gap between the designers we love and the

women who want to wear them,” says Marie. “Every

woman can rock high end fashion. I show them how.”

Marie quickly expanded beyond blogging to become a

consultant on designing and marketing for the curvy

body. According to Marie, “Many brands see the

opportunity but don’t know how to connect with the

plus size market. That’s where I come in.” Marie works

closely with established brands, serving as both a

market expert and champion once their lines launch.

Marie’s established fan base and network of plus size

bloggers and writers make it easy for her to help

brands gain traction with new lines.
