Adopts about 9,000 pets every year

Goal for 2010 is 10,000 dogs!

OHS adopts dogs, cats, and small animals like rabbits, and birds

Over 1,500 volunteers

& 100 staff members

OHS provides medical, dental, grooming care to every animal

& spays or neuters any dog or cat that is not before they arrive at OHS

Every animal stays at OHS until it is adopted

And also houses animals with the help of over 300 foster families

In 2007, a new learning center was built

OHS offers training and behavioral classes - everything form basic manners to agility workshops

…also, one-on-one training consultations

Every year over 81 schools visited and 2,100 kids are reached

OHS also has lots of adoptions events

Such as the Doggie Dash on May 15 at Waterfront Park!

OHS does not receive government funding so donations are happily accepted!
