DIANE ANDERSON•Diane is a member of the Social Committee.•She has maintained to photo albums of our events for several years.•In September she took over management of our bar. She gets the licences and assures that we are obeying all the applicable rules.•Diane organizes our New Year’s eve dinner, arranging for caterers and decorating for the event.•She also made our place mats and was responsible for décor at our spring dinner.•She helped distributing goodies at the gate on Halloween.•She helped decorate the clubhouse for Christmas.•She delivers newsletters in the Kensington and was responsible for our Christmas food bank boxes in that building too.•She has acted as hostess at our Wednesday morning coffee.

LLOYD ANDERSON

•Lloyd has spent much of the last year organizing snooker tournaments and giving lessons to those who would like to learn the game.•He is a member of the irrigation crew and has worked getting our sprinkler system up and running for the season.•He power-washed the walk ways and stream beds of our central water feature.•He hauled supplies into the bar for the Jefferson concert and again for Oktoberfest.

GARY BEIRNES•Gary is the treasurer of our Strata Council.•Once a week he attends at CrossroadsManagement and signs cheques.•He receives a detailed accounting of the month’s financial transactions from Crossroads and summarizes those on a spreadsheet. •He then presents this summary together with any required explanations to Council.•He prepares the annual budget for Chelsea Gardens and this is provided to residents prior to the AGM each year.

•Finally this past year we have been able to welcome Meredith as a new resident of Chelsea Gardens. It happens though that she has been one of our most dedicated volunteers for the past several years since she has regularly stepped in to “help” Dale.•This year Meredith sliced and grilled onions for our Canada Day barbecue.•She and Dale barbecued the

bratwurst for our Oktoberfest.She cooked potatoes for the spring dinner•They did the final clean up after that dinner…dishes for 140+ guests.

BERNICE HUTTON•Bernice is the chair of our Strata Council.•She sets the agenda and calls the meetings to order.•In addition to chairing the Council meetings which take place at least once a month and last 3-4 hours, she regularly meets with Ross Ruddick and Len Very about matters of concern to residents.•She helped organize and prepared food for the meal that followed last summer’s golf tournament.•She spent hours resetting residents’ entry clickers when our security system was compromised last fall.

She sets the agendas and chairs the meetings.•She meets with council representatives as required to assure smooth running of cooperative endeavours.•She planned the Volunteer Appreciation event for 2013 and hand dipped all those strawberries.•She was on the planning committee for our June 21st pub night dinner, July 1st celebration, the Jefferson concert and the spring dinner.•For those event she did much of the shopping. •She worked on set up for July 1st and prepared baked potatoes.•She cooked the chicken for the dinner boxes distributed at the Jefferson concert.
