Content Marketing Strategies (01:18)

Doug: So let's get right to it. I know you've been doing this for a long time and you've

been very successful at it. What are your favorite content marketing strategies?

!Denise: Well, the foundational content strategy for me, which is by far my favorite, is

blogging. That's where your home base is.

! I see a lot of people making this mistake, that they think they can be on social

networks, but you've probably heard this before and your audience has too, the

social networks are like rented land, whereas your blog is your own virtual property

that you own and control.

! I'm pretty keen on that strategy, making sure your content first lives on your blog

and then gets sent out to your social networks.

!





Doug: That's a very good point. Actually, we haven't really talked about that on the show

so much. If you want to say more about that, please do.

! So if I post content on Facebook or LinkedIn, why is that not enough?
