The story
• The men were believed to be dead for 17 days until it was finally discovered that they were alive!
The Quran says:
“Allah is gracious to his servants. He provides for whom He will, and He is the Strong, the Mighty.” [Ash-Shura: 19]
• So if Allah wanted all 33 of the men could have died but they didn’t
• Allah did not want those men to die.
• They survived and they were healthy.
• The men ranged from the age of 20-63.
• Allah provides even the Smallest fish with rizq.
What is Rizq?
• ‘Rizq’ cannot just be describes as material wealth or income. ‘
• Rizq’ is consists of all forms of Allah’s bounties, which are essential for the prosperity of man in this world and the hereafter.
What is Rizq?
• Money or wealth is only one form among many forms of ‘Rizq’.
• Among other forms of ‘Rizq’ are:
• Iman
• Ilm
• Akhlaq
• noble offspring
• etc.
In the Quran
• "Everyone shall taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection shall you be paid your
wages in full. And whoever is removed away from the fire and admitted to Paradise, he
indeed is successful. The life of this world is only the enjoyment of deception (a deceiving
thing)."
• (Qur'an Al-Imran 3:185)
It was really odd
• While these 33 men were brought out of the ground after 69 days. They were still alive.
• But today on the 14th of October a pilot on the way from Doha to Manila. He was perfectly fine being the captain of the Flight QR645, he died on the plan an the plane had to make an emergency landing.
So...
VS
Death will come to you even if are hidden in a fort.
In Short
• The rescue of the Chilean miners was a miracle from Allah because if he willed they might have not lived. They survived in a miraculous way.
• But Allah wanted the pilot to pass away and he did.
