He is born in August 4,1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii , U.S.A. His parents met each other in 1960 while attending the University Of Hawaii, where his father is a foreign student. They were married in February 2, 1961. They separated when Obama was two years old and they divorced in 1964. Obama’s father went back to Kenya and only saw Obama one last time before dying in an automobile accident. He attended local schools in Jakarta until he was 10 years old. He returned to Honolulu to live with his maternal grandparents, Madelyn and Stanley. He attended Punahou School from the fifth grade in 1971 until his graduation from high school in 1979.

In his election, Obama referred to helping us get away from the global financial crises.

Obama met his wife, Michelle Obama, inin June 1989, when he was employed as a summer associate at the Chicago law firm of Sidley Austin. He is also called “Barry” when he was young, but asked to be addressed in his given name during his college years.
