2. Show his bravery at the age of 16 in the Battle of Crecy. He alsoparticipated against the French during the Hundred Years' War.

In the year 1356 with an army of 7,000 soldiers defeated the French army at the battle of Poitiers.

4. On 10 October of 1361, in the town of Windsor, he married witchJuana the Kent the Granddaughter of Edward first.
