All the components are deployed by the same company, to
improve the internal and external collaboration workflow and
connectivity to its overseas offices, consultants and
customers. The selected companies all have Access to the
BIM Data, based on their pre-set Access Rights.
A company may provide management and maintenance
services to its Customers. The Server components can be
located anywhere, but the BIM Data is not owned and
managed by the Service provider. The Customers gain the
Access Rights from the Service Provider.
The BIM Data can be owned by one company, while it may
be manipulated by external parties. The Owner can act as a
Project Host, to facilitate total access control over the
subcontractors‘ work. The Access rights are also managed
by the Project Host.
