• The word ethics comes from the word ethos (Greece) which means a character, the character of morality or custom. As a subject, Ethics deals with the concept of belonging to individual or group to assess whether the action has been done wrong or right, bad or good. Ethics is a reflection of what's called self control, because everything is made and applied from and to the interests of people or groups of the profession itself.

Ethics are grouped into two definitions ever presented Robert Salomon, namely:

1. Ethics is an individual character and ethical behavior

2. Ethics is a social law, is a law regulating

In philosophy, including ethics, hence the talk of ethics cannot be separated from philosophy. If you want to know the elements of ethics then must learn the elements of philosophy, here described two properties of ethics, namely:

1. The non-empiricalEmpirical science is a science based facts or concrete.

2. PracticalPhilosophy talk about things "that exists", but the ethics of asking about "what to do".

The profession is a special employment groups carry out activities that require the skills and expertise to meet the needs of a complicated man. Usage by way of true skill and expertise is only achieved with the mastery of knowledge in a broad scope, covering human nature, history and the environment, as well as the discipline of ethics that was developed and applied to a group of members of the profession.

The main characteristic of the profession, are:

1. A profession requires extensive training before entering a profession;2. The training include significant intellectual components;3. trained Personnel capable of providing an important service to the community.;4. Process the license or certificate;5. The existence of the Organization;6. The autonomy in his work.

The three principal which is a function of the code of ethics of the profession, including:

1. profession code of ethics as a guide for every Member of the profession of professional principles outlined, so being able to find out things that should and should not do.2. Code of ethics of the profession as a means of social control to the community over the profession in question, meaning that it can provide knowledge to the community in order to understand the importance of a profession, so that it can control the professionals in the field.3. Code of ethics of the profession prevent interference outside professional organizations. That the professionals at an organization should not interfere with the exercise of the profession in other organizations

First, the lecturer should give a good example for students. Second, professors should be able to influence and control the students. Third, should appreciate the potential lecturer in student diversity

As for the profession of Dentist that is social, so the dentist absolutely must give priority to the interests of the community who need help, especially when they deal with the question of dental or oral cavity. The nature of the social world of dentistry is also regulated in the code of ethics of dentistry. Since being sworn in to run practising every Dentist is obligated to comply with the code of ethics.

1. As we know that every profession or worker have ethic, and they must be submissive to the ethic, so what do you think about people that is not submissive to the ethic? 2. Corruption is one of infraction in profession ethic, in nowdays so many people do that, as the next generation of our beloved country, pless tell some tips to reduce this activity, because this is a big problem in our country.
