executives voted relationship with immediate supervisor as the most important factor for career satisfaction, with job security and base compensation trailing closely behind.

• Employee satisfaction factors are changing, factors related to culture fit continue to outrank monetary job satisfaction factors.

PERCEPTION OF OUTLOOK FOR REGIONAL CASINO MARKETS• The overall outlook for the

casino industry showed an increase in levels of optimism in regards to almost all regions in 2015.

• Exceptions include an 8% decrease in outlook in the California market, and no change from last year in Racinos.

• Perception of career opportunities in Atlantic City increased 20% year-over-year; the improved outlook for the region will likely also improve the ability for casino and gaming recruiters to attract top talent to the region’s casinos

have conducted the Annual Casino Gaming Executive Satisfaction Survey for 15 consecutive years. Together we survey gaming executives from around the country about their career goals, job satisfaction, and outlook on the field to gain insight into casino gaming industry trends that subsequently impact trends in recruiting.

METHODOLOGY• The 2015 Bristol Associates/Spectrumetrix Gaming

Executive Satisfaction Survey was conducted online and had a total of 1,019 respondents, representing a sampling of casino and gaming executives from across North America. The respondents are diverse in terms of geography, executive responsibilities, years of experience and other meaningful criteria. The survey was designed to ensure that the respondents have worked in the casino and gaming industry and that no one was surveyed more than once
