Setting-up a Businesslegalize your business
It is advisable to have a business registered as there are many benefits attached to it like:
1. One can acquire SME Loan and Grant
2. Business gets opportunity to participant in exhibition at subsidized rate
3. Business can be sold
4. It act as CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) and is required in every turn of business.
5. It can be further enhanced to become a partnership company.
Steps to setup a proprietorship firm
Apply for NTN (National Tax Number)
Register the business with an Association or Chamber
Open a Bank Account
Maintain book of accounts
Submit tax return every year.

Once it is decided which form of business suits your business, next step is to apply for NTN (National Tax Number) number.
Simultaneously it should be decided who will maintain the accounts and submit the tax return
Once the above step is done then an individual can open the bank account.

Once the business is registered it is important to get registered with any association like Chamber of Commerce, SMEDA (small and medium entrepreneur development agency), APTMA (all Pakistan textile mill association), PSEB (Pakistan Software Export Board), PASHA (Pakistan association of software houses), etc
