Introduction Human nature, inevitably, at all occasions, craves for success and
glory.
Two questions which appear in everyone's’ mind are:
i. Is the concept of failure and success systematic or is it a man himself
who chooses his own destiny?
ii. How have our past role models succeeded, remarkably, that the
world is developing, day by day, and what was their roadmap for
success?
4
Human Struggle Routes
Human struggle simply means the forceful efforts made in one’s
journey to reach the desired destination.
During a struggle, one may achieve success, one after the other, or
end up in failure; a direct route.
Or one may experience failures, now and again, but continue his/her
journey till success is realized; a complex route.
The complex route manifests that failure is forerunner of success.
5
Human Struggle Phenomenon
During one’s struggle, the person, ineluctably, faces obstacles
like:
i. Hurdles (invisible or visible, inner or outer),
ii. Distraction (through joyful amusements/horrible
interventions),
iii. Natural difficulties (innate inevitabilities of life),
These obstacles are the reasons why we fail, off and on.
6
Roadmap to Success
Two groups – achievers and non-achievers - face various
obstacles, from time to time, during the struggle but their
way of combating with those obstacles is different.
How have some famous scientists, engineers, businessmen,
doctors, lawyers and entrepreneurs succeeded?
Well… the key to their success was a positive mindset and
wise working approach.
7
Positive mindset Positive mindset includes two aspects:
i. Optimism (an astounding thing existing only within the
person’s mind)
ii. Positivity (expecting or looking bad)
Research says that people with a positive mindset instantly
solution(s) to the most complex problems and have more
lifespan/achievements than others.
8
Positive Mindset Prerequisites
Positive mindset prerequisites are as follows:
i. Self-talk or auto-suggestion (thoughts appearing in one’s mind),
ii. Wisdom (intangible ability to make effective right decisions),
iii. Knowledge (information of any reality),
iv. Meditation (focusing deeply in silence to gain
relaxation/rehabilitation),
v. Collective life (sympathy and empathy towards fellow people) &
vi. Accompanying with positive thinkers (sharing ideas, thoughts
and information in a positive way).
9
Wise Working Approach
By now you might be relatively more positive.
But to be successful, positivity is not the only tool;
there should be another ingredient in the formula.
That ingredient is demonstrating/adopting a wise
working approach while doing a job.
10
Wise Working Approach Prerequisites
Wise working approach prerequisites are as follows:
i. Realizing inner tendencies (Due to imperfection, realizing our
tendency in the start is vital for success),
ii. Planning ahead (arranging a to-do list/schedule to carry out the
job(s) whether in different junctures or at one fell swoop),
iii. Managing time (using time in the most efficient and effective
way)
iv. Maintaining health (health is wealth)
11
Human Struggle Dimensions
Four dimensions of human struggle are as follows:
i. Having no positive mindset but a wise working approach (wasted efforts),
ii. Having a positive mindset but no wise working approach (idealism),
iii. Having a positive mindset and a wise working approach (greatest success)
&
iv. Having no positive mindset and no working approach (utter failure)
Wise Working Approach
No Wise Working Approach
Positive Mindset Greatest Success Idealism
No Positive Mindset
Wasted Efforts Utter Failure

Concluding Remarks
Failures are an unavoidable part of life i.e. they appear, now
and then.
Success can be realized even after experiencing failure(s).
Whether one is weak or strong, trained or untrained,
intelligent or dull, experienced or inexperienced, optimistic
or pessimistic, passionate or apathetic; there is always a
possibility for the person to succeed, either low or high.
“A low possibility means it’s not zero”
~ Tokuchi Toua, in the TV show (One Outs)
