The (Brief) Story of Morris and LydiaBy fraulineTaube (originally posted on the Exchange)

Just a quick little update on a gen. 5 spare and his simself wife.

I've been telling my friend Lydia (hippielayla86) that I would give her some pics of what her simself has been up to in my Vermachtnis neighborhood. Last we checked, she was dating Morris while he was in college with his half-sister, Macy, and brother, Max, who is the current Vermachtnis heir. You'll also perhaps remember that Lydia and Morris clicked right away. So, here is a very short tale of what they've been up to since then.

They moved into this cozy little house in Halcyon River Hills, in the section across the river from the main house, where the spares and their families live.

They had a quick marriage, so quick that they didn't even plan new formal outfits.

Before long, Lydia gave birth to their first son, Ethan. Strangely enough, he had red hair even though his parents have black and custom brown hair. Must be left over from Edith. He was also a bit of a meanie and had a personality more like Morris' brothers than either of his parents.

However, he was universally loved. This was a good thing, because it meant various ladies of HRH (including Julian's wife, Katie; Mickey's wife, Kerry; and Taube v2 pre-zombie) were happy to keep him entertained while his randy parents had pillowfights in their underwear.

Lydia gave birth again, this time in their small but very nicely decorated kitchen. ^_^ It was another son, this one named Peter. Peter was very nice and the spitting image of his father, including black hair.

Finally, Lydia was pregnant for the third and last time. As you can tell, she's absolutely spoiled rotten by Morris. They adore each other still.

And even Taube v2 post-zombie (more on that in another story!) was there for the birth. She is generally a pain in the behind since her zombifying, but for some reason, she and Ethan get along extremely well. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he has only one more nice point than she does . . .

This last pregnancy resulted in twins - Morris Jr. on the left and Madison on the right. Madison is not actually named for her aunt (Morris' half-sister) but for Madison Hinckley, in Lydia's hilarious legacy. Ethan is also the name of a character from that legacy, while Peter was named for Bernadette Peters' Apocalypse Challenge. Morris Jr. was named for rather obvious reasons. Finally, despite Morris checking out his wife's butt here, these are all the children they'll be having.

Here's a pic of Peter on the left and Ethan on the right. Even though they have nearly opposite personalities, the boys like each other rather well.

So here's to Lydia, a great friend, wonderful mod at SiMania, and now the happy mother of four, just another cog in the Great Vermachtnis Breeding Machine. Hee hee . . .
