QUICK INTRO ON ME
• Serial entrepreneur for 12+ years, mostly in the cheese & wine business.
• Have known Miva relatively well for that entire time, through a close friend.
• Might have even thought of myself as someone who understood ecommerce.
MY REALITY CHECK
• Truth is, I had no idea how complex ecommerce was
• Even though I got pretty deep into building a Miva store back in 2009
