enya is a bankrupt country politically, economically, culturally and socially. And it is time now we stopped decay. We need to take meaningful steps to K

halt this slide into the abyss. Its time we took a decisive stand to build a new Kenya. Exceptionally great efforts are required to halt the process of decay and build afresh. A tree bearing bad fruits must be cut and a fresh one planted. Together we must build a new nation founded on liberty, equality and justice.

In 1952 a state of emergency was declared to combat the freedom fighters. When Uhuru eventually came, it only benefited a tiny insatiable parasitic class of former homeguards and their offspring who in collaboration with imperialists allocated to themselves the vast amount of our nation's resources.

For how long shall these ogres devour our own? For how long shall the heroes of freedom struggle remain buried in kamiti? For how long shall we be denied land the basis of all freedom? Be denied healthcare? And jobs? And education? And justice. For how long?

The IMF and World Bank now run this country. The interest of foreigners come first the rest of us are second class citizens. We have to carry our identification cards around for lack of the proper identity money. Sovereignty is an illusion in Kenya. We harbour America and British military bases. Neo colonialism has never been so open, so blatant. This is simply unacceptable.

Under similar circumstances we did sit back and pray that things will one day go right. Led by Dedan Kimathi, the Kenya land and freedom army (KLFA) the MAU MAU was formed. The Bunge La Mwananchi Movement is call to re think and act. For too long we have been maimed jailed, impoverished, robbed, tortured and killed. Kenya can be without misery, poverty and oppression. The Bunge La Wanainchi movement is a demand to be free to build this Kenya.

To wrest Kenya from colonialism, the MAU MAU gave their time, their resources their lives. The time has come for us to take a similar stand to demand for our land and our freedom. There is no short cut

Kenya Imefilisika!HUU ni mwito kwa Wakenya wote wazalendo kufikiria, kujisaka na kuchukua hatua kuhusiana na hali ya nchi yetu.

Hatuhitaji Nabii kutambua kuwa Kenya inaelekea kutokomea shimoni kabisa. Ishara zote zinadhihirika wazi wazi. Leo, jeneza, magonjwa, njaa na vifo vimekuwa kawaida. Wakati umefika wa kumaliza kimya hiki na kukataa kupokea mapigo haya! Lazima tukomeshe kuangamizwa kwa nchi yetu na tujenge Kenya mpya. Bila shaka tutahiji juhudi kuu kufanya hivi. Nyumba yetu imeharibiwa kabisa. Lazima tuibomoe tujenge upya. Kurekebisha juu juu hakutasaidia chachote! Lazima tuchimbe msingi mpya wa haki na usawa. Lakini lazima tujihadhari. Baadhi ya mbwa mwitu ambao wamepora na kuharibu nchi yetu leo wamejivika ngozi za kondoo.

Nchi yetu iko mnadanani inauzwa na kuvamiwa. Kama si hivyo, mbona sehemu kubwa zaidi ya rasilmali yetu inamezwa na tabaka ndogo lisilotosheka? Leo, sio siri kuwa rasilmali ya Kenya haiwafaidi Wakenya walio wengi. Hali hii ni dhahiri hasa katika umilikaji wa ardhi – msingi wa uhuru. Kundi hili ndogo la mafisi litaendelea mpaka lini kumiliki maelfu ya ekari ya mashamba huku mamilioni wa Wakenya wakiwa maskwota nchini mwao? Watu Kenya watahisi njaa ya ardhi, ya afya, ya elimu, ya kazi, ya haki, ya uhuru mpaka lini?

Leo majambazi hawa wa kisiasa wameshindwa hata kuendesha shughuli za serikali. Jukumu hili limeachiwa IMF na World Bank. Wengi wetu tumefanywa wananchi mitumba. Nchi yetu imefanywa uwanja wa majeshi kigeni kutoka Uingereza na Marekani. Leo, Kenya si huru. Hali hii lazima ikomeshwe.

Hapo mbeleni katika hali duni kama hii hatukukaa kitako na kusubiri siku mya ya usawa. Likiongozwa na Dedan Kimathi wa Waciuri, Jeshi la Uhuru na Mashamba – Mau Mau – liliundwa. Bunge la Wanainchi ni warithi wa historia hii ya uzalendo wa mstari wa mbele. Uzalendo wa Me Katilili, Muthoni Nyanjiru. Pio Gama Pinto, Bildad Kaggia na wazalendo wengine.

Lengo la Mau Mau – Ardhi na Uhuru – leo ni mwafaka zaidi.

Bunge la mwanainchi na Hema la Ukombozi inakuita kutafakari. Tumeteswa, tukafungwa jela, tukafanywa mafukara, tukaporwa….tukauwawa. Njaa, mateso, umaskini na dhuluma hazifai kuwa kawaida nchini mwetu. Kenya ina uwezo mkubwa sana. Hakuna atakayeiokoa nchi yetu ila sisi wenyewe. Wakati majambazi wabeberu walipokuwa wakinajisi nchi yetu, Mau mau hawakusita kutoa wakati wao, mali yao na hata maisha yao.

Hakuna njia ya mkato kufikia uhuru! Njia ni ile ile.
