This is a typical convention used in documentaries as it is common to want to hide the identity of a witness. We achieved this blurred effect by laying the blur transition on top of one another to create the final blurred effect.

This screenshot shows the end of our documentary where we have included an end credits transition. To this we added a sound effect from iMovie of a new broadcast. We felt that this added to the realistic effect and fitting the ‘Crimewatch’ theme of the documentary. In addition to this, we used the audio sound effect from iMovie and edited it using the app ‘Garage Band’. This allowed us to add in our own unique touch of ‘Coventry Crackdown’ to the theme tune making it our own original tune for our documentary.
