DESCRIPTION

Nonprofits have a story to tell and visual social media, when used strategically, can be key in broadcasting a story in a way that will educate and emotionally connect people to a nonprofit's cause. Social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Google+ can be great communication channels to tell your story to raise awareness and increase engagement. Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube are three very visual channels. There is a strategy for use with each of these social platforms. I was asked to speak about Instagram and G+ Hangout basics and strategies for nonprofits. These slides are key points that I expanded upon during the presentation.
