Target Audience Feedback: Trailer Draft 1

Bridget Cardenas Pazmiño

In the following slides I will show what my target audience said about my draft 1 of my

trailer ‘Destiny’s End’.

Target Audience Feedback: 1

I really like the trailer especially the first shots at the beginning when girl is on the plane, overall I feel that the first part is great . But more speaking would be better.Chloe, Age 18

Target Audience Feedback: 2

I found the trailer interesting but I think that it would be better if jump scares would be included, this would show it’s a horror movie rather than give the impression of a action film.Teresa, Age 18

Target Audience Feedback: 3

I loved the trailer but I think that the music need to end better because at the end it all fades out so suddenly which just ruins the feeling/ purpose of the trailer which is to make you feel attracted to watch the film.Sonia, Age 17

It was intriguing but didn’t really make me want to go see the movie. I personally think that more footage has to be shown in order to give the audience an idea of the film.Jessica, Age 23

Reflection on Target Audience Feedback

I agree that jump scares are missing which are fundamental when creating a horror movie. Apart from that speaking is also needed more in a trailer since it gives the audience an idea of what the movie is going to be about.

For my next draft I will add: Jump scares More verbal language Also include a much more dramatic ending for the music.
