In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful


يس

[36:1] Ya Seen.


�ح�ك يم ال آن �ق#ر� و�ال

[36:2] I swear by the Quran full of wisdom


ين� ل س� �م#ر� ال �م ن� ل �ك� ن إ

[36:3] Most surely you are one of the messengers


* �ق يم ت م,س� اط* ص ر� ع�ل�ى

[36:4] On a right way.


ح يم الر� �ع�ز يز ال �نز يل� ت

[36:5] A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful.


ف�ه#م� �اؤ#ه#م� آب #نذ ر� أ م�ا ق�و�م?ا #نذ ر� ت ل#ون� غ�اف ل

[36:6] That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless.


ال� ف�ه#م� �ر ه م� �ث ك� أ ع�ل�ى �ق�و�ل# ال ح�ق� �ق�د� ل#ون� #ؤ�م ن ي

[36:7] Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe.


ل�ى إ ف�ه ي� ? �ال �غ�ال أ �اق ه م� �ع�ن أ ف ي �ا �ن ج�ع�ل �ا ن إم,ق�م�ح#ون� ف�ه#م �ذ�ق�ان األ

[36:8] Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they

have their heads raised aloft.


و�م ن� دOا س� �د يه م� ي� أ �ن �ي ب م ن �ا �ن و�ج�ع�ل

� ال ف�ه#م� �اه#م� �ن ي �غ�ش� ف�أ دOا س� �ف ه م� ل خ�ون� �ص ر# #ب ي

[36:9] And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered

them over so that they do not see.


�م� ل �م� أ �ه#م� ت �نذ�ر� �أ أ �ه م� �ي ع�ل و�اء و�س�#ون� #ؤ�م ن ي � ال ه#م� #نذ ر� ت

[36:10] And it is alike to them whether you warn them or warn them not: they do not believe.


ي� و�خ�ش �ر� الذXك �ع� �ب ات م�ن #نذ ر# ت �م�ا ن إر* �ج� و�أ ة* م�غ�ف ر� ب ه# ر� Xش� ف�ب �ب �غ�ي ال ب ح�م�ن الر�

* �ر يم ك

[36:11] You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so

announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward.


ق�د�م#وا م�ا #ب# �ت �ك و�ن �ى �م�و�ت ال ي #ح�ي ن �ح�ن# ن �ا ن إف ي �اه# �ن أح�ص�ي ي�ء* ش� #ل� و�ك ه#م� �ار� و�آث

ين* م#ب * م�ام إ

[36:12] Surely We give life to the dead, and We write down what they have sent before and their

footprints, and We have recorded everything in a clear writing.


ذ� إ �ة ي �ق�ر� ال ص�ح�اب�� أ ? �ال م�ث �ه#م ل و�اض�ر ب�

#ون� ل س� �م#ر� ال ج�اءه�ا

[36:13] And set out to them an example of the people of the town, when the messengers came to

it.


�ا ن ز� ف�ع�ز� #وه#م�ا �ذ�ب ف�ك �ن �ي �ن اث �ه م# �ي ل إ �ا �ن ل س� ر�� أ ذ� إ

#ون� ل س� م,ر� #م �ك �ي ل إ �ا ن إ #وا ف�ق�ال �ال ث* ث ب

[36:14] When We sent to them two, they rejected both of them, then We strengthened (them) with a third, so

they said: Surely we are messengers to you.


ل� �نز� أ و�م�ا �ا #ن �ل مXث eر �ش� ب � ال إ #م� �نت أ م�ا #وا ق�ال � ال إ #م� �نت أ ن� إ ي�ء* ش� م ن ح�من الر�

#ون� �ذ ب �ك ت

[36:15] They said: You are naught but mortals like ourselves, nor has the Beneficent Allah revealed

anything; you only lie.


#ون� ل س� �م#ر� ل #م� �ك �ي ل إ �ا ن إ �م# �ع�ل ي �ا ,ن ب ر� #وا ق�ال

[36:16] They said: Our Lord knows that we are most surely messengers to you.


ين# �م#ب ال �غ# �ال �ب ال � ال إ �ا �ن �ي ع�ل و�م�ا

[36:17] And nothing devolves on us but a clear deliverance (of the message).


�ه#وا �نت ت �م� ل ن �ئ ل #م� ك ب �ا ن �ر� �ط�ي ت �ا ن إ #وا ق�ال eيم �ل أ eاب�ذ�ع �ا مXن #م �ك ن �م�س� �ي و�ل #م� �ك ج#م�ن �ر� �ن ل

[36:18] They said: Surely we augur evil from you; if you do not desist, we will certainly stone you, and

there shall certainly afflict you a painful chastisement from us.


�ل� ب #م ت Xر� ذ#ك ن �ئ أ #م� م�ع�ك #م� ك ر# ط�ائ #وا ق�الر ف#ون� م,س� eو�م�ق #م� �نت أ

[36:19] They said: Your evil fortune is with you; what! if you are reminded! Nay, you are an

extravagant people.


eج#ل ر� �ة �م�د ين ال �ق�ص�ى أ م ن� و�ج�اء ع#وا �ب ات ق�و�م �ا ي ق�ال� ع�ى �س� ي

ين� ل س� �م#ر� ال

[36:20] And from the remote part of the city there came a man running, he said: O my people!

follow the messengers;


و�ه#م ا �ج�ر? أ #م� #ك �ل أ �س� ي � ال م�ن ع#وا �ب ات�د#ون� م,ه�ت

[36:21] Follow him who does not ask you for reward, and they are the followers of the right

course;


�ه �ي ل و�إ ي ن ف�ط�ر� �ذ ي ال #د# �ع�ب أ � ال ل ي و�م�اج�ع#ون� #ر� ت

[36:22] And what reason have I that I should not serve Him Who brought me into existence? And

to Him you shall be brought back;


ح�م�ن الر� #ر د�ن ي ن إ ه�ة? آل ه د#ون م ن �خ ذ# �ت �أ أ � و�ال ?ا �ئ ي ش� #ه#م� ف�اع�ت ش� Xي ع�ن #غ�ن ت � ال nض#ر ب

#نق ذ#ون ي

[36:23] What! shall I take besides Him gods whose intercession, If the Beneficent Allah should desire to afflict me with a harm, shall not avail me aught, nor

shall they be able to deliver me?


ين* م,ب �ل* ض�ال �ف ي ل ذ?ا إ Xي ن إ

[36:24] In that case I shall most surely be in clear error:


م�ع#ون ف�اس� #م� Xك ب ر� ب آم�نت# Xي ن إ

[36:25] Surely I believe in your Lord, therefore hear me.


ق�و�م ي �ت� �ي ل �ا ي ق�ال� �ة� ن �ج� ال اد�خ#ل ق يل��م#ون� �ع�ل ي

[36:26] It was said: Enter the garden. He said: O would that my people had known


م ن� ي �ن و�ج�ع�ل Xي ب ر� ل ي غ�ف�ر� م�ا بم ين� �ر� �م#ك ال

[36:27] Of that on account of which my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones!


م ن� �ع�د ه ب م ن ق�و�م ه ع�ل�ى �ا �ن ل �نز� أ و�م�ا ين� م#نز ل �ا #ن ك و�م�ا م�اء الس� مXن� ج#ند*

[36:28] And We did not send down upon his people after him any hosts from heaven, nor do We ever

send down.


ه#م� ذ�ا ف�إ و�اح د�ة? �ح�ة? ص�ي � ال إ �ت� �ان ك ن إ خ�ام د#ون�

[36:29] It was naught but a single cry, and lo! they were still.


مXن يه م ت� �أ ي م�ا �اد �ع ب ال ع�ل�ى ة? ر� ح�س� �ا ي

#ون �ه�ز ئ ت �س� ي ه ب #وا �ان ك � ال إ س#ول* ر�

[36:30] Alas for the servants! there comes not to them an messenger but they mock at him.


مXن� �ه#م �ل ق�ب �ا �ن �ك �ه�ل أ �م� ك و�ا �ر� ي �م� �ل أج ع#ون� �ر� ي � ال �ه م� �ي ل إ �ه#م� ن

� أ ون �ق#ر# ال

[36:31] Do they not consider how many of the generations have We destroyed before them,

because they do not turn to them?


ون� م#ح�ض�ر# �ا �ن �د�ي ل eيع ج�م �م�ا ل sل# ك ن و�إ

[36:32] And all of them shall surely be brought before Us.


�اه�ا �ن �ي ي �ح� أ �ة# �ت �م�ي ال ر�ض#� األ� �ه#م# ل eة� و�آي

#ون� #ل �ك �أ ي �ه# ف�م ن Oا ب ح� �ه�ا م ن �ا ن ج� �خ�ر� و�أ

[36:33] And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain so they

eat of it.


�اب* �ع�ن و�أ �خ يل* ن م ن �ات* ن ج� ف يه�ا �ا �ن و�ج�ع�ل #ون �ع#ي ال م ن� ف يه�ا �ا ن و�ف�ج�ر�

[36:34] And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in

it,


�د يه م� ي� أ �ه# �ت ع�م ل و�م�ا �م�ر ه ث م ن #وا #ل �ك �أ ي ل

ون� #ر# ك �ش� ي �ف�ال� أ

[36:35] That they may eat of the fruit thereof, and their hands did not make it; will they not then be

grateful?


م م�ا �ه�ا #ل ك و�اج� �ز� األ� خ�ل�ق� �ذ ي ال �ح�ان� ب س#ال� و�م م�ا ه م� �نف#س أ و�م ن� ر�ض#

� األ� ت# #نب ت�م#ون� �ع�ل ي

[36:36] Glory be to Him Who created pairs of all things, of what the earth grows, and of their kind

and of what they do not know.


ذ�ا ف�إ �ه�ار� الن �ه# م ن �خ# ل �س� ن �ل# �ي الل �ه#م� ل eة� و�آي م#ون� م,ظ�ل ه#م

[36:37] And a sign to them is the night: We draw forth from it the day, then lo! they are in the dark;


ك� ذ�ل �ه�ا ل nر�ق� ت م#س� ل �ج�ر ي ت م�س# و�الش� يم �ع�ل ال �ع�ز يز ال �ق�د ير# ت

[36:38] And the sun runs on to a term appointed for it; that is the ordinance of the Mighty, the

Knowing.


ع�اد� �ى ح�ت �از ل� م�ن �اه# ن ق�د�ر� �ق�م�ر� و�ال �ق�د يم ال ج#ون �ع#ر� �ال ك

[36:39] And (as for) the moon, We have ordained for it stages till it becomes again as an old dry

palm branch.


#د�ر ك� ت �ن أ �ه�ا ل �غ ي �نب ي م�س# الش� ال� sل# و�ك �ه�ار الن ق# اب س� �ل# �ي الل و�ال� �ق�م�ر� ال

�ح#ون� ب �س� ي ف�ل�ك* ف ي

[36:40] Neither is it allowable to the sun that it should overtake the moon, nor can the night outstrip the day; and all float on in a sphere.


�ك �ف#ل ال ف ي �ه#م� �ت ي Xذ#ر �ا �ن ح�م�ل �ا �ن أ �ه#م� ل eة� و�آي ح#ون �م�ش� ال

[36:41] And a sign to them is that We bear their offspring in the laden ship.


#ون� �ب ك �ر� ي م�ا ه �ل مXث مXن �ه#م ل �ا �ق�ن ل و�خ�

[36:42] And We have created for them the like of it, what they will ride on.


و�ال� �ه#م� ل ص�ر يخ� ف�ال� #غ�ر ق�ه#م� ن � أ �ش� ن ن و�إ#نق�ذ#ون� ي ه#م�

[36:43] And if We please, We can drown them, then there shall be no succorer for them, nor shall

they be rescued


ح ين* ل�ى إ �اع?ا و�م�ت �ا مXن ح�م�ة? ر� ال� إ

[36:44] But (by) mercy from Us and for enjoyment till a time.


#م� �د يك �ي أ �ن� �ي ب م�ا �ق#وا ات �ه#م# ل ق يل� ذ�ا و�إح�م#ون� #ر� ت #م� �ك �ع�ل ل #م� �ف�ك ل خ� و�م�ا

[36:45] And when it is said to them: Guard against what is before you and what is behind you, that

mercy may be had on you.


ال� إ Xه م� ب ر� �ات آي مXن� �ة* آي مXن� يه م ت� �أ ت و�م�ا

م#ع�ر ض ين� �ه�ا ع�ن #وا �ان ك

[36:46] And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their

Lord but they turn aside from it.


�ه# الل #م� ق�ك ز� ر� م م�ا �نف ق#وا أ �ه#م� ل ق يل� ذ�ا و�إ#وا آم�ن �ذ ين� ل ل وا �ف�ر# ك �ذ ين� ال ق�ال�

ن� إ �ط�ع�م�ه# أ �ه# الل اء �ش� ي �و� ل م�ن #ط�ع م# �ن أ ين* م,ب ل* ض�ال� ف ي ال� إ #م� �نت أ

[36:47] And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve

say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in

naught but clear error.


#م� #نت ك ن إ �و�ع�د# ال ه�ذ�ا �ى م�ت #ون� �ق#ول و�ي ص�اد ق ين�

[36:48] And they say: When will this threat come to pass, if you are truthful?


�خ#ذ#ه#م� �أ ت و�اح د�ة? �ح�ة? ص�ي ال� إ ون� �نظ#ر# ي م�ا�خ صXم#ون� ي و�ه#م�

[36:49] They wait not for aught but a single cry which will overtake them while they yet contend

with one another.


ه م� ه�ل� أ �ى ل إ و�ال� �ة? �و�ص ي ت �ط يع#ون� ت �س� ي ف�ال�

ج ع#ون� �ر� ي

[36:50] So they shall not be able to make a bequest, nor shall they return to their families.


مXن� ه#م ذ�ا ف�إ الص,ور ف ي #ف خ� و�ن#ون� ل �نس ي Xه م� ب ر� ل�ى إ �ج�د�اث األ�

[36:51] And the trumpet shall be blown, when lo ! from their graves they shall hasten on to their

Lord.


ه�ذ�ا �ا ق�د ن م�ر� م ن �ا �ن �ع�ث ب م�ن �ا �ن �ل و�ي �ا ي #وا ق�ال#ون� ل س� �م#ر� ال و�ص�د�ق� ح�م�ن# الر� و�ع�د� م�ا

[36:52] They shall say: O woe to us! who has raised us up from our sleeping-place? This is what the

Beneficent Allah promised and the messengers told the truth.


ه#م� ذ�ا ف�إ و�اح د�ة? �ح�ة? ص�ي ال� إ �ت� �ان ك ن إون� م#ح�ض�ر# �ا �ن �د�ي ل eيع ج�م

[36:53] There would be naught but a single cry, when lo ! they shall all be brought before Us;


و�ال� ?ا �ئ ي ش� eف�س� ن �م# #ظ�ل ت ال� �و�م� �ي ف�ال#ون� �ع�م�ل ت #م� #نت ك م�ا ال� إ و�ن� #ج�ز� ت

[36:54] So this day no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and you shall not be rewarded aught but that which you did.


غ#ل* ش# ف ي �و�م� �ي ال �ة ن �ج� ال ص�ح�اب�� أ ن� إ

ه#ون� ف�اك

[36:55] Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy.


ع�ل�ى ل* ظ ال� ف ي و�اج#ه#م� �ز� و�أ ه#م��ك ؤ#ون� م#ت ك ائ ر�

� األ�

[36:56] They and their wives shall be in shades, reclining on raised couches.


�د�ع#ون� ي م�ا �ه#م و�ل eة�ه ف�اك ف يه�ا �ه#م� ل

[36:57] They shall have fruits therein, and they shall have whatever they desire.


* ح يم ر� nب ر� م ن ق�و�ال? eم ال� س�

[36:58] Peace: a word from a Merciful Lord.


�م#ج�ر م#ون� ال ,ه�ا ي� أ �و�م� �ي ال وا �از# و�ام�ت

[36:59] And get aside today, O guilty ones!


ال� �ن أ آد�م� ي �ن ب �ا ي #م� �ك �ي ل إ ع�ه�د�� أ �م� �ل أ

eين م,ب sد#و�ع #م� �ك ل �ه# ن إ �ط�ان� ي الش� #د#وا �ع�ب ت

[36:60] Did I not charge you, O children of Adam ! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he

is your open enemy,


eيم �ق ت م,س� eاط ص ر� ه�ذ�ا ي #د#ون اع�ب �ن� و�أ

[36:61] And that you should serve Me; this is the right way.


�م� �ف�ل أ ? يرا �ث ك Oال ب ج #م� م نك �ض�ل� أ �ق�د� و�ل#ون� �ع�ق ل ت #وا #ون �ك ت

[36:62] And certainly he led astray numerous people from among you. What! could you not

then understand?


#وع�د#ون� ت #م� #نت ك ي �ت ال �م# ج�ه�ن ه�ذ ه

[36:63] This is the hell with which you were threatened.


ون� �ف#ر# �ك ت #م� #نت ك م�ا ب �و�م� �ي ال �و�ه�ا اص�ل

[36:64] Enter into it this day because you disbelieved.


�ا Xم#ن �ل #ك و�ت �ف�و�اه ه م� أ ع�ل�ى م# ت �خ� ن �و�م� �ي ال#وا �ان ك م�ا ب #ه#م� ل ج# ر�

� أ ه�د# �ش� و�ت �د يه م� ي� أ

#ون� ب �س �ك ي

[36:65] On that day We will set a seal upon their mouths, and their hands shall speak to Us, and

their feet shall bear witness of what they earned.


ه م� #ن ع�ي� أ ع�ل�ى �ا ن �ط�م�س� ل اء �ش� ن �و� و�ل

ون� �ص ر# #ب ي �ى �ن ف�أ اط� الصXر� �ق#وا �ب ت ف�اس�

[36:66] And if We please We would certainly put out their eyes, then they would run about groping

for the way, but how should they see?


ه م� �ت �ان م�ك ع�ل�ى �اه#م� ن خ� �م�س� ل اء �ش� ن �و� و�لج ع#ون� �ر� ي و�ال� Oا م#ض ي �ط�اع#وا ت اس� ف�م�ا

[36:67] And if We please We would surely transform them in their place, then they would

not be able to go on, nor will they return.


�ف�ال� أ �ق ل �خ� ال ف ي ه# Xس� �ك #ن ن ه# #ع�مXر� ن و�م�ن��ع�ق ل#ون� ي

[36:68] And whomsoever We cause to live long, We reduce (him) to an abject state in constitution;

do they not then understand?


ن� إ �ه# ل �غ ي �نب ي و�م�ا ع�ر� Xالش �اه# �م�ن ع�ل و�م�ا eين م,ب eآن و�ق#ر� eر� ذ ك ال� إ ه#و�

[36:69] And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it meet for him; it is nothing but a reminder and a

plain Quran,


ع�ل�ى �ق�و�ل# ال �ح ق� و�ي Oا ي ح� �ان� ك م�ن #نذ ر� ي ل�اف ر ين� �ك ال

[36:70] That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the

unbelievers.


ع�م ل�ت� م م�ا �ه#م� ل �ا �ق�ن ل خ� �ا �ن أ و�ا �ر� ي �م� و�ل� أ

#ون� ك م�ال �ه�ا ل ف�ه#م� �ع�ام?ا �ن أ �ا �د ين �ي أ

[36:71] Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so

they are their masters?


�ه�ا و�م ن #ه#م� #وب ك ر� �ه�ا ف�م ن �ه#م� ل �اه�ا �ن �ل و�ذ�ل#ل#ون� �ك �أ ي

[36:72] And We have subjected them to them, so some of them they have to ride upon, and some

of them they eat.


�ف�ال� أ ار ب# و�م�ش� �اف ع# م�ن ف يه�ا �ه#م� و�لون� #ر# ك �ش� ي

[36:73] And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful?


�ه#م� �ع�ل ل ه�ة? آل �ه الل د#ون م ن �خ�ذ#وا و�اتون� #نص�ر# ي

[36:74] And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped.


eند ج# �ه#م� ل و�ه#م� ه#م� �ص�ر� ن �ط يع#ون� ت �س� ي ال�ون� م,ح�ض�ر#

[36:75] (But) they shall not be able to assist them, and they shall be a host brought up before them.


م�ا �م# �ع�ل ن �ا ن إ #ه#م� ق�و�ل نك� �ح�ز# ي ف�ال�#ون� ن #ع�ل ي و�م�ا ون� ر, #س ي

[36:76] Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what

they do openly.


م ن �اه# �ق�ن ل خ� �ا �ن أ ان# نس� اإل� �ر� ي �م� و�ل� أ

eين م,ب eيم خ�ص ه#و� ذ�ا ف�إ ,ط�ف�ة* ن

[36:77] Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open

disputant.


م�ن� ق�ال� �ق�ه# ل خ� �س ي� و�ن �ال? م�ث �ا �ن ل ب� و�ض�ر� eيم م ر� و�ه ي� �ع ظ�ام� ال ي ي #ح� ي

[36:78] And he strikes out a likeness for Us and forgets his own creation. Says he: Who will give

life to the bones when they are rotten?


ة* م�ر� و�ل�� أ �ه�ا أ �نش� أ �ذ ي ال يه�ا ي #ح� ي ق#ل�

eيم ع�ل خ�ل�ق* Xل# ك ب و�ه#و�

[36:79] Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant

of all creation


�خ�ض�ر األ� ج�ر الش� مXن� #م �ك ل ج�ع�ل� �ذ ي ال#وق د#ون� ت �ه# مXن #م �نت أ ذ�ا ف�إ ا �ار? ن

[36:80] He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle

(fire).


م�او�ات الس� خ�ل�ق� �ذ ي ال �س� �ي و�ل� أ

#ق� ل �خ� ي �ن� أ ع�ل�ى ق�اد ر* ب ر�ض�� و�األ�

يم# �ع�ل ال ق# �خ�ال� ال و�ه#و� �ل�ى ب �ه#م �ل م ث

[36:81] Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He

is the Creator (of all), the Knower.


�ه# ل �ق#ول� ي �ن� أ ?ا �ئ ي ش� اد� ر�� أ ذ�ا إ ه# م�ر#

� أ �م�ا ن إ#ون# �ك ف�ي #ن� ك

[36:82] His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is.


Xل# ك #وت# �ك م�ل �د ه ي ب �ذ ي ال �ح�ان� ب ف�س#ج�ع#ون� #ر� ت �ه �ي ل و�إ ي�ء* ش�

[36:83] Therefore glory be to Him in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things, and to Him you shall

be brought back.
