Chapter 4 “God who is Incessantly worshipped”

• “Come up hither” – Pictures the rapture (V.1)

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: Come up hither, I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.

• The worship in heaven (Ch. 4: 2- 11)

a. Who is the one sitting on the throne? Description of the throne, and one who sits (v. 2-5) b. Who were worshipping and how? Four beasts and the 24 elders (v. 6- 10; 1.Chro.24:1-19) c. Why he was worshipped? Because he has created all by his pleasure (v. 11)

A white horse: man sits on it with a bow (?) As for peace

• Second seal opened; (v.3-4) War A Red horse; man sits on having power to take peace (?)

• Third seal opened (V.5-6) A black horse; man sits on having a balance (Famine and control of food)

Chapter 6 (1-4 Same Satan’s man in different appearances)

• The forth seal opened (v.7-8) A pale horse; man sit on was death (v.8) power to kill

(Study with Lev. 26- Four methods lord said)

• The fifth seal opened (v.8-11) The spirit who are slain under the alter (v.9)

• The sixth seal opened (v.12-17) Begins the great day of the wrath of the lamb (v.17)

(Usurper resists to leave; lamb uses the lawful authority- v.12 catastrophic troubles begins- people try unsuccessful

escape.v.15)

Chapter 7 (An interval between the 6th and 7th seal)

Saints sealed

• Four angels holds the winds not to blow (v.1; Zec.6:5)• Proclaims not to hurt till the saints are sealed (v.2-3)• 144000 sealed from the tribes of Israel (v.4-8)

A great multitude from Gentiles

• They sing a new song (What it is – V.10)• Who are they (v. 14)• What they will do (v.15)• What the lamb will do for them (v.17)

Angels joins in the worship

• They fall down and worship the Lord. (v.12; Rev.5: 11)

Chapter 8 (Followed by seven trumpets)

When seventh seal opened

• Silence in Heaven for half an hour ? (v.1) (May be because of the coming woes) A. Seven angels received the trumpets (v.2) b. An angel casts the censer upon earth (v.5)

Took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and * there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

• Three woes follows

1. First woe (8: 7- 9: 12) (During blowing of trumpet 1-5) 2. Second woe ( 9: 13- 11: 13) (When blows trumpet 6) 3. Third woe (11: 14- 19) (Follows the blow of trumpet 7) * Rev.8: 5; 11: 19; 16: 18 (Ex.19: 16; 18)

Chapter 8: (7-13) Why trumpets? (Num10: 9)

• Angels begins to blow one by one (begins “first woe”) a. 1st angel: Fire mingled with blood cast upon earth (v.7) On earth - one third burned of trees and grass (v.7)

b. 2nd angel: On sea- great mountain burning with fire (v.8) In the sea- One third of creatures and among ships (v.9)

c. 3rd angel: On rivers and springs-A great star like a lamp (v.10)

One third of water turned bitter and many died of it (v.11)

d. 4th angel: One third of sun, moon and stars smitten (v.12) One third part darkened (v.12) affects day and night

• An angel flying and saying with a loud voice (v.13) “Woe, woe, woe” to the inhabitants of the earth

Chapter 9 “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth”

• When the fifth angel blow the trumpet (v.1) 2nd woe begins

Torment for five months (v.2-11;Gen.7:24; 8:3)

• The locusts released of bottom less pit (v.3) a. Who this angel ? (v.2; Bottom less pit –20: 1)

b. What the locusts are? (v.3; 7-11; Joel 2: 25) c. Who were tormented? (v. 4-5) cannot die (v.6) d. Who the king of them (v.11; Pro.30: 27)

Chapter 11 The ministry of two witnesses

• A rod to measure (v.1-2) Measure the temple, alter and those worship (v.1-2)

• War in heaven- Dragon prevailed not (clears out from heaven)

a. Michael and his angels fought with dragon (v.9)

Loud voice saying from heaven. (Satan’s final attempts on earth)

• rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them.• Woe unto the inhabitants of earth and sea (v.12)

Chapter 13 (Imitation of “Satanic trinity”)

• The beast rise up out of the sea (v.1) a. Appearance of the beast (v.1-3; 12; 14) b. Source of power for the beast (v.4, 7) c. Dragon and Beast is worshiped (v. 4) d. Speaks blasphemous.. 42 months (v.5-6) e. All will worship, except whose names ..(v.8)

• A great and marvelous sign in Heaven (v.1) a. Seven angels with vials filled with the wrath of God (v.1) (Shadow of vials- Num. 16: 37; 46- 47)

• Victors in the glassy sea with harps (v. 1- 4) a. Who are they? (v. 2)

b. Over what they had the victory? (v. 2) c. What they were singing? (v. 3- 4)

• Temple of the tabernacle of testimony in Heaven (v. 5) a. From where came the angels having plagues? (v.6: 16: 17)

b. Who were those angels (from appearance?) v. 6 c. Given the golden vials full of wrath of God? (v. 6) d. Glory filled the temple of God? (v.8)

Chapter 16 “Go, pour out on earth”

• Seven angels-vial judgments (Plagues) Ch. 16: 1-21 (Voice out of the temple- Pour out the wrath of God upon earth- v.1)

1. Went and poured out vial upon earth (v. 2) *Ex.9: 10

Grievous sore upon men with mark of the beast (v. 2)

2. Poured out vial upon the sea (v. 3) *Ex. 8: 17

Turned as dead mans blood, all living died in the sea (v.3)

3. Poured upon the rivers and fountains (v. 4) *Ex.8: 17

They become blood (v.4)

(God is righteous in his judgment- v. 5-7; * Judgment of Egypt)

Chapter 16: 8-21

4. Poured out his vial upon the sun (v.8) Men were scorched with great heat (v.8-9) Blasphemed the name of God; but not repented 5. Poured vial upon the seat of the beast (v.10) *Ex.10: 22 Kingdom was full with darkness, and gnawed with pain Blasphemed God because pain of sore , not repented (v.11)

6. Poured out his vials upon the R. Euphrates (12-16) Water dried up to make way for kings of east (v.12) (a short interval between 6th and 7th vials) Three spirits gathers the army for Armageddon (v.16)

7. Poured out his vial upon the air (v.17- 21)* Ex.9: 26 Thunder, Earthquake, hail, island moved (v. 18-21) Great voice from the temple- “It is done” (v.17)

Babylon the great is fallen (the commercial)

• Another mighty angel proclaims the fall (v.1) a. What Babel is? (V. 2; Jer.51: 7) b. Her merchandize made many rich (v.3) C. but her judgment came within an hour (v. 10; 17; 19) d. Great was her commodities (v.12; 13) e. But at her fall only stood far and lament (v.10; 15; 17)

• Voice from Heaven gives warning (v. 4- 8) a. “Come out of her, my people” (v.4) b. God remember her deeds and rewards (v.5-8)

Chapter 19 (An interval between 2nd and 3rd dooms )

The Lord God omnipotent reigneth (v. 6; 16)

• Great voice of much people in Heaven (1-5) a. Alleluia; Salvation, and glory.. unto the Lord our God: (v.1) b. Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. (v.2; 3) c. Alleluia: Four and twenty elders..worshipped.. saying, Amen;(v.4) d. Alleluia:The Lord our God omnipotent reigneth (v.6)

• The marriage of the Lamb and supper (v.7- 9) a. Blessed are those called for the marriage supper (v.9)

• Heaven opened and White horse and one sits on it (v.11: 16) a. Who sits on the white horse? (v.11- 16) “LORD OF LORDS”

• Angel stand in the sun and invites (v.17; 21) a. The supper of the great God? (v. 17- 21) b. Beast and false prophet, cast alive to the lake of fire (v. 20)

Chapter 20 Millennium (Interval between the 4th and 5th dooms)

• Angels shows: (v.9) Bride the lamb’s wife a. Measure, The gates, materials (v.11-21) b. The lamb is the light thereof (v.22-24) c. Gates shall not be shut (v.25-26) d. Anything defileth shall no way enter.(v.10-27)

Chapter 22 (God and the lamb on throne)

• And he show me the: (The angel-21: 8) a. The river of the water of life (v.1) b. The tree of life on the sides (v.2)

• The throne of God and the lamb will be in it (v.3) a. His servants shall serve him (3) b. They shall see his face (v. 4) c. His name shall be in their forehead (v.4)

• The things must shortly come to pass (v. 6-15) a. Seal not the prophecy of this book (v. 10) b. “Behold I cometh quickly, reward with me” (v.12)
