اني اسألك اللـهم باسمك

يا الله يا رحمن يا رحيم يا كريم يا مقيم يا عظيم يا قديم يا عليم يا حليم يا حكيم

انت الغوث الغوث صنا من النار يا خل

يا كاشف كل مكروب يا فارج كل مهموم يا راحم كل مرحوم يا ناصر كل مخذول يا ساتر كل معيوب يا ملجأ كل مطرود

O Fashioner of every fashioned thing, O Creator of every created thing, O Provider for every needy thing, O Sovereign over all subjects, O Dispeller of every hardship, O Comforter of every griever, O Merciful to every sufferer, O Helper of everything forsaken, O Who Conceals every blemished thing, O Shelter for every exile.

يا من كل شيء خاضع لهيا من كل شيء خاشع

لهيا من كل شيء كائن له يا من كل شيء موجود

بهيا من كل شيء منيب

is afraid, O one to Whom everything

owes its stability, O He towards Whom

everything retreats,

O He Whom everything glorifies with praise,

O He besides Whom everything is perishable.

يا من كل شيء خائف منهº يا من كل شيء قائم

به يا من كل شيء صائر اليه

ح يا من كل شيء يسب بحمده

يا من كل شيء هالك إال وجهه

(38 )دعاء الجوشن الكبير O He-there is no retreat

but towards Him, O He-there is no place of

protection except with Him,

O He-there is no right path except that which leads to Him,

O He-there is no shelter against Him but with Him,

يا من ال مفر إال اليه يا من ال مفزع إال اليه يا من ال مقصد إال اليهيا من ال منجا منه إال

اليه

towards anyone except Him,

O He-there is no strength and vigor but from Him,

O He-none is invoked for help but He.

O He-trust is not reposed in anyone but He,

O He-hope is not entertained from anyone except from He,

O He-none is worshipped except He.

يا من ال يرغب إال اليهيا من ال حول وال قوة إال

به يا من ال يستعان إال بهل إال عليه يا من ال يتوك

يا من ال يرجى إال هو يا من ال يعبد إال هو

land and in water, O He Whose signs are in

the universe, O He in Whose signs are

exhibited in causing death,

O He Whose graves provide [people] with His lesson,

يا من في االفاق اياته يا من في االيات برهانه يا من في الممات قدرته يا من في القبور عبرته

يا من يحول بين المرء وقلبه

فاعة إال يا من ال تنفع الش باذنه

يا كاشف الضر واأللم ر والهمم يا عالم الس يا رب البيت والحرم

ز بقدرته يا من تعز يا من قدر بحكمته

forbearing with His forbearance,

O He, Who is near us in spite of His exaltation,

He wishes, O He, Who does whatever

He wishes, O He, Who guides whomever

He wishes, O He, Who leaves astray

whomever He wishes,

يا من يخلق ما يشاـء يا من يفعل ما يشاـء

يا من يهدي من يشاء يا من يضل من يشاـء يا من يعذب من يشاء

does not prevent Him from listening to others simultaneously,

O He-doing one thing does not prevent Him from doing other things simultaneously,

O He-the speech of one person does not make Him needless of the simultaneous speech of others,

O He-one request does not make Him forgetful of other requests,

يا من ال يشغله سمع عن سمع

يا من ال يمنعه فعل عن فعل

يا من ال يلهيه قول عن قول

طه سؤال يا من ال يغلعن سؤال

thing does not prevent Him from seeing other things simultaneously,

O He-the plaintive cries of those who weep and lament do not bother Him,

O He Who is the ultimate desire of the petitioners,

يا من هو غاية مراد المريدين
