Characteristics of Salvation History

• Christocentric – All events and persons in salvation history are seen in the light of the person of Jesus.• Biblical – The Bible is the record of salvation history.

(Reason: So that all people may know His plan of Salvation)• Inculturated – The Word became flesh in order to

convey God’s message• Systematic – God gives consideration to the

readiness and capacity of humans to receive his revelation. (See three Stages)
