on a Mission

Quezon City, Philippines August 2012

In August 2012 the Metro Manila floods and typhoonsresulted in:

8,428 homes destroyed

6,706 homes damaged.

Today, this area is still beingrestored.

60% of Manilla was under water

Declan will be travelling with his youth toreach out to the people living in thesquatters of Quezon City.

To bring : COMPASSION

HOPE

through teaching, training; and assisting in a community nutrition program duringthis trip.

The Youth will be working alongside local believers

Training local SGLS (small group leaders)and working with (VBS)Vacation Bible School in

the morning

Distributing Vitamins and Facilitating Scripture Study with locals in the

afternoons

There are some costs involved in getting him there so ifyou would like to assist that would be GREAT!

Sponsor a Walk-A-Thon on the 25th April –THIS weekend !

We are walking! That’s right. We are walking!

The youth will be walking 5km and we are looking for sponsors to either make a once off donation or sponsor per kilometer.

Funds raised will go towards some of the administration of the trip as well as contributing to the CLF Community Nutrition Program to buy milk and vitamins for the childrenof the area
