Here’s a few things about me…

Kim Roberson

Who Am I?I am a 21 year old

college student at USD, with a busy life. I live Sioux City, Iowa, even though I go to school in Vermillion. I moved to Sioux City four years ago, I love the town, and don’t plan on moving.

Though I am a college student, I also have two jobs. During the week I work for Curran Transportation as a bus driver for Dakota Valley Schools. On the weekends I work at Fareway Grocery Store in Sioux City.

What do I like to do?

On my days off I like to go out to my church and help out in the yard. Mowing with the tractors is my favorite thing to do, but sometime I end up weeding instead. It does not make a difference though, I just enjoy getting outside and soaking the sunshine and fresh air.

On Friday nights I pretty happy with good movie and some ice cream. Or maybe going out to eat with a friend, follow by some shopping.

What am I Involved In?

I am a member of Buchanan Avenue Baptist Church, and I try and get involved in any way I can. Some other ladies and I rotate teaching Children's Church. I help out in the kitchen for fellowship dinners and activities when needed. I also help in the van ministry that pick up kids who can not get a ride to church.

But one of the things I enjoy get involved in the most is the teen activities. We have game nights, fall festivals, valentines banquets, and so much more. I help out where ever I can from helping plan the activities to performing in skits. Here some pictures of some of the things we have done

Who’s My Family

I may not be married or have children, but my family is very important to me. My parents and my brother live quite a ways away, but I am very close to my sister, who lives in Sioux City.

My sister is married and has two kids, a little girl that is 5, and a little boy that is 3, and I thoroughly enjoy their company. There is probable nothing I love more then spending time with my niece and nephew, and their parents.

What are My Professional Goal?

I hope to graduate from USD with my bachelors degree in Elementary Education in the spring of 2012, but no later than the fall of 2012. I would like to teach 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, and I hope to have a minor in reading.

My hope after graduating is to work in an elementary school in the Sioux City School District.

Where Will I be in Ten Year

You never know what can happen in ten years, or where you’ll be, but if I were to guess as to what my life would be like here is what my hope would be:

I would be happily living in Sioux City Iowa, with a small, but beautiful, family. I would be going on my eighth year of teaching fourth grade at Unity Elementary School. I would be loving my job, and getting better at it each year.
