Each cycle reached complete spiritual degeneration.Can we assume the sameabout the church? Will that signal the end?

As the church continues to degenerate, God brings out the final phase of his plan – to regather Israel and rule from the Holy City, Jerusalem.

This will trigger the final series of events leading to Christ’s second coming

2 Timothy 3:1-4 ESV - in the last days.. people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive…, …lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,Matthew 24:14 ESV - And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 ESV - Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed..,, who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god..proclaiming himself to be God.

Matthew 24:29-32 ESV - “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man….,

"He will raise a flag among the nations.. He will

gather the scattered people of Judah from the ends of the earth." Isaiah 11:12 (NLT)

“The time is coming when my people will take

root. Israel will bud and blossom and fill

the whole earth with her fruit!" Isaiah 27:6 (NLT)

“.. Has a nation ever been born in a single day?.. by the time Jerusalem's birth

pains begin, the baby will be born; the nation will come forth." Isaiah 66:8 (NLT)

"‘.. I will appoint responsible shepherds to care

for them, and they will never be afraid again. Not a single one of them will be lost or missing,' says the Lord….

‘..I will place a righteous Branch on King David's throne. He will be a King who rules with wisdom. He will do what is just and right

throughout the land. And this is his name: 'The Lord Is Our Righteousness.' In that day Judah will

be saved, and Israel will live in safety.

Activity in heaven and earth in the last days:

4 seals – The riders on horses

5th seal – Martyrs souls

6th seal:◦ sun to darkness, moon to blood

◦ 144 K sealed - Israel

◦ Countless from every tribe every nation coming from “Great tribulation” (biblical terminology) –appears to be dead in christ

Also referred to as the great tribulation (first half), the timeline is:

1260 days (Rev 12:6)

3.5 years – Rev 12:14 (time, times and half a time)

Forty two months – rev 13:5

During which time:

There is destruction on earth

Two witnesses die and rise

Also called the second half of the great tribulation, it covers another 3.5 years approx:

1290 days 11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days. 12 Blessed is he who waits and arrives at the 1,335 days. Daniel 12

The following also happens in heaven and earth:

144 K on mount Zion

Saved singing on sea of glass

Beast in control (for 42 months)

Israel purified

2nd coming of Christ

The worst part of the Great Tribulation is left to the last from which the righteous appear to be saved as rapture has occurred:

7 disasters

Fall of Babylon

Assembling of kings for battle of Armaggedon

Celebration in heaven

Jesus (rider in white horse) descends to rule earth with a rod of iron

Antichrist (beast) and armies (of the earth) destroyed at the final battle of Armageddon.

The millenial rule where Christ rules the earth with his saints is kicked off with a grand celebration. The final phase of the “first resurrection” occurs - Rev 20and features:

Marriage supper of lamb – Rev 20

Satan bound for 1000 years – Rev 20

Feast of tabernacles - Zechariah 14:16,17

Israel 100% compliant - Jer 31:33

Long lives – Isaiah 11

Israel evangelizes nations – Isaiah 49:6, 42:6

Ruled by martyrs and saints – Rev. 20:5

Lion and lamb sleep together – Isaiah 11

The final judgment occurs. It is only then that God declares who has eternal life and who, eternal death.

Satan destroyed forever in lake of fire

Remaining (unsaved) dead rise (second resurrection)

Rewards given (according to deeds, but generous and more than what the righteous deserve) -Matthew 16:27; 25:31-46; Revelation 20:12

Second death

Permanently rotting and burning bodies of unsaved (Isaiah 56)

The grand and final destination is opened up only to those who’s names are not blotted from the book of life:

New heaven and earth

Saints reign with Christ…

1. Before He rides the victory horse,

Christ had to die on the cross.

Jesus in Mt 24 uses “tribulation” in v 9 differently to “Great Tribulation” in v. 21

The latter is the one under discussion

“Blood moons” are much talked about in Christian circles in recent times as the colorations resulting from eclipses, etc.

These supposedly have occurred at certain rare intervals

The bible associates it NOT as STANDALONE but with a number of other events like sun dark, sky being folded up, stars falling from sky, etc. - Mt 24

..And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. Revelation 13:5 ESV

..so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God. Mark 13:1-37 ESV

The bible talks of three separate events [3] when the righteous rise collectively called “The First Resurrection”

1. At the time of Jesus’ death (Matt 27:51-520)

2. When saints (dead then living) are snatched up in the twinkling of an eye (1 Cor 15:52, 1 Thess4:16,17) –(towards the beginning of the “Great Tribulation)

3. The remaining saints who have stuck through, or came to Christ during tribulation (towards end of the Great Tribulation) – Rev 20:4

I have referred to the second (of the first resurrection) as rapture, though the term may be differently used by some.For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout… And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. I Thessalonians 4:16-17

This occurs soon after (what I term) the Second Coming (Rev 14:1), when Christ comes to win and rule.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded… They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on

their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand

years. Revelation 20:4

Clearly stated as from Israel and the tribes as opposed to “people from every tribe an nation” earlier.

.. ..saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads.” And I heard the number of the sealed, 144,000, sealed from every tribe of the sons of Israel…... Revelation 7:1-8 ESV

The place of the final battle between God and Satan:

And the armies of heaven, arrayed in fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses…. ... Revelation 19:11-21 ESV

14 For they are demonic spirits, performing signs, who go abroad to the kings of the whole world, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty…. 16 And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon. Revelation 16:14-16 ESV

This rule occurs on the earth for a thousand years.……the same horn was making war against the saints… and the time came for the saints to possess the kingdom. (Dan. 7:21-22)9 They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD

As the waters cover the sea. Isaiah 11

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. Psalms 37:20 - KJV

People who have wealth but lack understanding are like the beasts that perish. Psalm 49:20 –NIV

Fire and worm never dies of “bodies” - Isaiah 66

“For ever and ever” in Rev 20:10 in Greek eistous aeonas ton aionon, 'to the ages of the ages'.

“And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and false prophet were. And shall be tormented day and night until the age of ages.”

Satan and his followers will not endure everlasting punishing; he will have their existence terminated; [1]

The Lake of Fire [1] is a :

Physical place that burns with

Physical fire (Matt.25:40-41; Rev.20:7-10) and turned to

Physical ashes that will be trodden under the feet of the righteous (Mal.4:1-3),

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart

from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. – Matt 25

Then I saw a heaven and a new earth; for the

first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. 2 And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from

God, made ready as a bride adorned for her

husband. Rev 21

Why does the “new heaven” require to “heal the nations”?

Will there still be sin?
