Matthew 28:18-20

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All

authority in heaven and on earth has been

given to me. 19 Therefore go and make

disciples of all nations, baptizing them in

the name of the Father and of the Son and

of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to

obey everything I have commanded you.

And surely I am with you always, to the

very end of the age.”

Luke 15:1-2

1 Now the tax collectors and sinners were

all gathering around to hear Jesus.

2 But the Pharisees and the teachers of the

law muttered, “This man welcomes

sinners and eats with them.”

Isaiah 53:6

We all, like sheep, have gone astray,

each of us has turned to our own way;

Philippians 2:5-8

5 In your relationships with one another, have

the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who,

being in very nature God, did not consider

equality with God something to be used to his

own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself

nothing by taking the very nature of a servant,

being made in human likeness. 8 And being

found in appearance as a man, he humbled

himself by becoming obedient to death— even

death on a cross!

Hebrews 2:10-12

10 In bringing many sons and daughters to glory,

it was fitting that God, for whom and through

whom everything exists, should make the

pioneer of their salvation perfect through what

he suffered. 11 Both the one who makes

people holy and those who are made holy are

of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed

to call them brothers and sisters. 12 He says,

“I will declare your name to my brothers and

sisters; in the assembly I will sing your

praises.”
