Forget the former things, do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-19 (NIV)

God our Saviour showed us how good and kind he is. He saved us because of his mercy, and not because of any good things we have done. God washed us by the power of the Holy Spirit. He gave us new birth and a fresh beginning. God sent Jesus Christ our Saviour to give us his Spirit. Jesus treated us better than we deserve. He made us acceptable to God and gave us the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-7 (CEV)

A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together constantly and shared everything they had. They sold their possessions and shared the proceeds with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their group those who were being saved. Acts 2:43-47 (NLT)

Once you were far away from God, but now you have been brought near to Him through the blood of Christ. For Christ Himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in His own body on the cross, He broke down the wall of hostility that separated us. Eph 2:13-14

After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne and before the Lamb. They were clothed in white robes and held palm branches in their hands. And they were shouting with a great roar, “Salvation comes from our God who sits on the throne and from the Lamb!” Rev 7:9-10

VisionVision

In five years Mosaic will be a charismatic, evangelical, multi-cultural, cafe style cell church on the Costa Blanca, with 3,000 fully functioning, authentic, devoted followers of Jesus Christ in twenty different areas.

Each cell will be providing support and care for one another, as well as the wider community and will also be meeting together locally to praise, worship and glorify God. In addition all cells will be gathering together and attending large celebrations. There will also be two Community Centres, one for the North Costa Blanca and one for the South Costa Blanca, both reaching out to all in the community.

MissionMissionOur mission is to make it possible for anyone to experience God's love through:

Offering unconditional Christ like love. Providing a creative, innovative & supportive

environment where risks can be taken and changes made.

Unconditional acceptance of wherever a person is on their life journey.

Developing Biblical knowledge & understanding whilst supporting the journey of spiritual maturity.

Developing natural skills & supernatural gifts. Supporting the desire for a new beginning or

rededication. Thereby enabling the person to become a fully

functioning, authentic, devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Exhibiting the Fruit, and using the Gifts, freely given by the Holy Spirit.

What We BelieveWhat We Believe God is bigger, better and closer than we can

imagine. Jesus was God as man on earth. The Holy Spirit lives in, and His gifts work through,

us today. The Bible is God's perfect manual for living. God's forgiveness is available to everyone. We have a relationship with God through His grace,

and this relationship grows through faith. God allows evil to provide us with a choice. God

brings good out of evil, with victory promised for those who choose Him.

Creation is not an accident, God made it. Heaven and Hell are real places, with death the

beginning not the end. Jesus will come again.

Our ValuesOur Values Mosaic is a community built on love, hope acceptance,

relationship, healing and care. We serve and provide for each other and the community

just as Jesus served and provided for the community. Praise and worship is a lifestyle. Sharing stories of our changed lives is as natural as

breathing. A supportive, loving, stimulating and challenging

environment builds maturity and character. All our gifts are used to benefit all of the community all of

the time. To recover the biblical five fold ministry of leadership to

assist in the recovery of the first century church model and the building up of the body.

Teaching develops understanding and maturity. A commitment to the convergence of Word and Spirit. Creativity is as important to us as it is to God. We encourage every member ministry. We are all in partnership with each other and God.

The Biblical Background to The Biblical Background to Some of Our ValuesSome of Our Values

In the Old Testament of the Bible there were a number of places that were referred to as a "City of Refuge", one of these was called Shechem. Mosaic embraces some of the values common to both a City of Refuge and Shechem:

Mosaic provides all men, women and children somewhere to achieve safe sanctuary, just like a "City of Refuge"

Mosaic is a place where love and hope are provided for all people no matter their background.

Abraham raised his first altar to God near to Shechem. A new beginning in a new place. Mosaic is a place where people can find new life.

Individuals need a safe place like Mosaic to successfully work towards release from modern strange Gods. Similar to when Jacob buried the strange Gods of his day near Shechem.

Mosaic provides a loving place to work through memories good and bad.

Shechem was the place that Joseph came to when he was looking for his brothers. Mosaic is somewhere where a person can search for what is missing in their life.

Mosaic provides anyone with a safe place to rededicate his or her life. Just like Joshua when he rededicated Israel to God at Shechem
