• The first cost is ours. We have to admit that we have a bag of sin to give Him. This is a very small cost to our pride and self opinion, but it has to be paid.

• The second cost is God's. God in the person of Jesus suffered all the results of our sin.

• The terrible cruelty and death of crucifixion is the reality of the results of sin.
