Manchester United have scored four goals on five occasions in league gamesat Stamford Bridge. The third time they did this - on 29th November, 1947 -gave them their highest winning margin in matches at Chelsea. They won 4.0with Johnny Morris scoring a hat-trick.

The highest aggregate score (11) in these matches occurred on 16thOctober, 1954 in front of 55,966. Seamus O'Connell scored a hat-trick on hisdebut for Chelsea but Dennis Viollet also got a hat-trick for ManchesterUnited and Tommy Taylor scored two more in a 6.5 win.
