• Formerly an award-winning student athlete in Steubenville, Ohio, Cody Saltsman remains passionate about football. Cody Saltsman enjoys watching the sport and cheering on his favorite player, Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints.

In 2016, the Miami Herald announced the results of its 2015 Passer Success System (PASS) NFL quarterback rankings. Drew Brees, who held the number-one position five times, came out victorious. He garnered his sixth win over Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, who was a strong contender for the title who up until his final game. The win tied Brees with Peyton Manning’s record.

Drew Brees grew up in Austin, Texas. He played collegiately for Purdue University and led his team to a Big Ten Championship game and the Rose Bowl. An All-American Player of the Year winner, he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers and later traded to the New Orleans Saints. His career highlights include a Super Bowl championship and Most Valuable Player (MVP) honors as well as being named the 2008 and 2011 NFL Offensive Player of the Year.
