Fun, fun, fun!Hi!
Please remember a child’s swimming style will vary due to physical ability, balance and coordination. Teaching a child to swim takes time and they must learn at their own pace. When possible, keep your child involved with the water - visit other pools and have fun with your child in the water. Regular access to water increases confidence and sustains a child’s ability in the water.Learning to swim is not an easy task but you are giving your child one of the most important skills they will ever learn and one they will utilise for the rest of their lives!

OUR LOCATION(Lot 105, Yenda Avenue, Bulli. 2516)
We are located off George Ave, Bulli. First street on right. Take the driveway on the right!
OUR SWIM SCHOOL AT THE SWIM SCHOOL :
We have a fully enclosed pool so conditions are perfect all year round.
Our pool is 17m and heated. We have showers, toilets, change rooms, a safe play area for
siblings inside & a small shop in which we sell caps, goggles, flippers etc.
We are situated on an acreage and have lots of friendly animals to meet and greet.
There are horses, chooks, peacocks, sheep, a pig, an alpaca etc......
We provide a family friendly atmosphere and a relaxed environment.
We operate at the same time as most schools – we are closed during the school holidays (except for the swim clinics) We do not operate on public holidays.

Classes Available Babies: (from 6mths) $10.00 per lesson - duration 1/2 hour Learn to Swim: $12.00 - duration 1/2 hour School Age: $11.00 - duration 1/2 hour Plus GST Squads: $10.00 duration 1 hour Plus GST

NB. We are seeking expressions of interest for adult learn to swim classes.
Baby ClassesInfants are introduced the water with the security of a parent. Classes are fun and focus on building confidence in the water. Lessons are ability based and enjoyable for both baby and parent.ccChildren are put into classes according to their ability. At this stage all strokes are introduced and developed. Children learn correct kicking and stroke technique.
Squad ClassesThis level is an introduction to a more serious training environment. The emphasis is on stroke correction and building of stamina in the water.

PAYMENT POLICY

PAYMENTAll lessons are paid for upfront. If you are an existing customer, fees for the upcoming term must be paid for in “fees week” – week 9 of current term. If you are a new customer, on completion of your enrolment form fees for the term must be paid for in full. Invoices will be printed out for you to collect in “invoice week” usually week 7 of term. The invoices will be in day/time and placed in a folder on the table next to the filing cabinet. If you require a receipt please lets us know (either by a note in the correspondence book, email, phone, facebook or website) – we will place this in the blue tray on the table for you to collect at your next lesson, if we are unable to process one, at the time of request. If you are experiencing difficulties paying your account, please see Terry or Kelli and we can work towards a suitable arrangement. Unfortunately, as we have a waiting list, if fees aren’t paid your child will lose their placement.
IF YOU WANT TO START LESSONS
STEP 1 - Call the office, if the office is unattended, please leave a short message and a contact number & we will get back to you. Alternatively, email, facebook or use the “contact us” section of our website. Once you have been given a suitable day/time – print out the enrolment form attached on page 16 of this information pack and bring it with you to the first lesson – alternatively, you can fill out a form at the swim school.
STEP 2 - Don’t forget – please bring payment for the term to your first lesson!
STEP 3 - Sit back, relax and watch your child swim!
FAQ’s SWIM SCHOOL GENERAL INFORMATION
To assist you we have compiled general information consisting of the most frequently asked questions.
WHAT TO BRING TO SWIMMING LESSONS
Swimming costume Towel Goggles (not compulsory but advisable) Swimming cap - (not compulsory for boys but advisable for girls with long hair) can be purchased from the swim school office . Flippers if you need them in your class. We have flippers you can borrow and flippers you can buy at the swim school office if
needed. Be ready to hop in at your lesson time!
FIRST LESSON FOR A NEW STUDENT Sign in (tick your child’s name off) – on the table by the
noticeboard.
Take a newsletter from the noticeboard if you haven’t read one on our website.
Fill out an enrolment form (one per family) found on the noticeboard (if you haven’t downloaded one) and place it in the blue tray on the table next to the filing cabinet.
Take your child’s invoice from the blur tray on the table.
Pay your fees either by cash, cheque, EFT or Eftpos. If the office is unattended – cash and cheques can be placed in the “mailbox” near front door (envelopes are provided on table for this reason) If paying by EFT please place the remittance slip at the bottom of your invoice in the mailbox. Eftpos available when office is attended. Fees must be paid in full at your first lesson.
FAQ’s
MAKE UP LESSON POLICYIf a lesson cannot be attended, it helps us a lot, if we know beforehand – a quick call is very much appreciated. We will endeavour to provide an alternate day/time. Make up lessons MUST be taken in the current term – they cannot carry over from term to term and a maximum of 2 make up lessons are available.
Make up lessons are not guaranteed!
MEDICAL CONSIDERATONSPlease inform the Swim School Office of any medical considerations that your child may have. This information is important so the instructor is aware of any safety concerns.
FAQ’s
RE-ENROLMENT Preference will be given to existing customers. If you need to change any details from your current booking, please let us know a.s.a.p. To be re-enrolled for the next term, fees must be up to date. Please let us know if you will not be returning so we can keep our records up to date.
PRESCHOOL PARENTSAt the end of Term 4 please notify the Swim School at re-enrolment time for Term 1 if your child will be going to school in the new year so they can progress to a School Aged classes.

GENERAL GENERAL
PLEASE keep your child from entering the water if it is not their class. Not only is it disruptive, but it is also dangerous!
ANIMALS – Please feel free to look at the animals we have here at the Swim School, but remember, whilst our animals are friendly, all animals can be unpredictable. Parental supervision is a necessity! Also, it is advisable to visit the animals after your lesson, just in case “yucky” things are brought into the swim school on the bottom of shoes!!
GENERAL GENERAL PHOTOS - During the term we often take photos in our lessons. At
times we would love to upload them to our facebook and website, but we will always notify you first for permission to do so!!
SCHOOL HOLIDAY’S CLINIC - We run intensive swim clinics during the school holidays. These clinics run for one week (5 days) and run for 30 minutes each day. Cost is $11 per day - $55 per week. Enrolment sheets, dates and times are posted on the noticeboard prior to the holidays.
CAPS, GOGGLES & FLIPPERS - All girls must wear swimming caps. These
can be purchased from us and are located in the office. If possible, could parents invest in a pair of flippers for their child, if they require them in their lesson.
