What is kitsch?

An object of ridiculous color or shape meant to draw attention, where the

proud owner is usually someone who could be seen as person

without taste.

inapropriate use of overblown emotions; something silly, but

without any humour in it; lack of a sense of adequacy.

The art of bad taste. Something pretending to be something it isn't. Like a pepper mill in the shape of

the Eiffel Tower

Things with too much of everything, just lacking a sense for

what is appropriate.
