Jets Secondary in 2014It’s no secret the New York Jets were not a good football team in 2014

This was due in large part to an incredibly weak secondary which featured many guys people have not heard of like Phillip Adams and Darrin Walls

It wasn’t long ago when the secondary was a strength for the Jets. In recent years they traded away CB Darrelle Revis and let CB Antonio Cromartie. Well it looks like the gang is getting back together….and then some

Won a Super Bowl in 2015

CB Antonio CromartieCromartie returns to the Jets after spending time with the Cardinals in 2014

Played for current Jets HC Todd Bowles in AZ

Signed for 4 yrs. $32 mil

CB Buster SkrineSpent first 4 seasons with the Cleveland Browns

Had 5 interceotions and 36 passes defensed in the last 2 seasons

Signed for 4 yrs. $25 mil

S Marcus Gilchrist

Spent first 4 seasons with the San Deigo Chargers

Has played both CB and S in the NFL

Signed for 4 yrs. $22 mil

New Look Secondary

These additions figure to be a huge upgrade over guys like Kyle Wilson and Dawan Landry

Personel still with the team that figures to contribute are last years 1st round pick S Calvin Pryor and 3rd round pick Dexter McDougle
