INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 1. Applicants must possess an undergraduate degree in a health related field or are currently in final semester of undergraduate completion. 2. Must have a strong desire to learn and grow in strength and conditioning or health and wellness related fields 3. No experience necessary 4. Interns must be available to commit to the entire length of their selected internship semester and work the 20 allotted hours per week. 5. A former athlete is preferred. **Interns of Athletes Warehouse will be expected to assist team members in coaching and training athletes, actively participate in team huddles, arrive on time, and act and dress professionally at all times. LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES 1. Methodology and System Concepts I. The foundation of our business; all interns will gain a vast understanding of why, how, and in what manner we preach and teach to our athletes. 2. Certification Preparation II. Our staff strives to be the most educated and prepared staff in the community by holding several industry standard certifications and always increasing our educational reach. Therefore, we will prepare each intern with the skills and knowledge necessary to take and pass all top level certifications. 3. Research and Development III. At the cornerstone of Athletes Warehouse’s methodology is our R & D program. We are constantly gathering information from our athletes strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and mental approach. We are using this data to continually educated first our staff and second our community through publications, seminars, and our constantly updated R & D databases. 4. Internal Research IV. In an industry that is perpetually trying to re-invent itself we take an obtuse approach and begin to simplify the essentials. Our evaluation process has been developed to analyze the athlete not just on one occurrence but throughout the training life of the athlete.
