Inaki first started rugby at 15, progressing so quickly that he was selected for the U-19 USA team the following year. At 17 he be-came the vice-captain of the USA U-19 side that competed at the World Championships in France. Since then, Inaki has played professional rugby in France at Massy, (Agen), Lannemezan and at L’Aquila in Italy last season. Inaki made his Eagle debut in 2007 and has 11 international appearances. He represented the USA at the 2007 RWC.

Todd is one America’s most famous rugby players. He represent-ed the High School All-Americans, USA U-19 side, University of Nevada, Reno, and was a three-time College All-American. Todd has played professionally in New Zealand for North Harbour, Su-per Rugby in South Africa for the Xerox Lions and is currently in Japan with Suntory Sungoliath. Todd has also played on the HSBC Sevens World Series, competing in 23 tournaments for the USA. He made his Eagle debut in 2003, and has 37 international appearances. Todd will captain the United States at the RWC, and has competed in both the 2003 and 2007 RWC tournaments.

Takudzwa first represented America on the HSBC Sevens World Series, compet-ing in 3 tournaments for the USA. He currently plays professional rugby at Biarritz in France, recently reaching 50 caps. He made his Eagle debut in 2007, and has 19 international appearances. This will be his second RWC, having being honored with the ‘Try of the Tournament’ with his run against South Africa’s Brian Habana in the 2007 RWC.

Blaine started playing rugby at UCLA, before transferring to UC Berke-ley in his junior year. In the sevens version, Blaine captained Cal at this year’s CRC 7s tournament, following a run to the finals in 2010. He has also played on the HSBC Sevens World Series, competing in 4 tournaments for the USA. Blaine has just graduated with a degree in History, and aims to play professional rugby overseas after the RWC. He made his Eagle debut in 2011, and has 4 international appearances. John captained the University of Idaho rugby team from 2004-2005 and a year later was selected for the Hawkes Bay in the NPC devel-opment side. He then played professional rugby at Alby in France with prop Mate Moeakiola, and recently with Bath in England for the 2010/2011 season. He made his Eagle debut in 2008, and has 17 international appearances. This will be his second RWC, having been at the 2007 tournament.

Chris has played for the Nottingham RFC and the Northampton Saints in England. More recently Chris has been a standout for Saracens, winning the 2011 Premiership. He has also played on the HSBC Sevens World Series, competing in 13 tournaments for the USA, often captaining the squad. He made his Eagle debut in 2007, and has 23 international appearances. This will be his second RWC, having played in all four 2007 matches.

Before taking over as Head Coach to the US Eagles in March of 2009, Eddie was Head Coach to the Irish team for over six and a half years. As the longest serving Irish coach in history he won 50 tests in that period. During that time Ireland won 3 Triple Crowns in a 4 year period and reached 3rd in the IRB rankings in 2003 and 2006, the highest every ranking for Ireland. He also served as Assistant Coach on the 2005 Li-ons Tour to New Zealand. He played rugby for the Garryowen Club in Limerick, Munster, and also represented Ireland at “A” level. From 1997 – 1999 he worked as Assistant Coach to the US Eagles and was also the Technical Director for USA Rugby at that time. RWC 2011 will be Eddie’s 5th occasion to participate as coach at a Rugby World Cup.

Dan played for the Eagles in the Churchill Cup and RWC in 2007. On the coaching front he was the Head Coach for the USA ‘A’ versus New Zealand Counties in 2009. Dan was the Head Coach for San Diego State from 2006-2009 and is currently the Director of Rugby at Life University.

Dan PayneSPECIALIST COACH

Dave played professional rugby for Llanelli Scarlets in Wales, being named Player of the Year in 2002. For the Eagles he was capped 54 times, appearing in both the 1999 and 2003 RWC’s. He also won four Pan American Championships and played for the USA 7s team from 1996-2000. On the coach-ing front, Dave was the Director of Rugby for the All American program in 2005 and also the Director of Rugby for the Den-ver Barbarians. He is currently the Eagles Forwards Coach and Performance Analyst. Dave instituted the first ever video share program for Rugby Super League 2010/2011 and for the inaugural College Premier Division. He has also served as the Competition Manager for USA Sevens the last two years.

Dave HodgesFORWARDS COACH

Matt is a former Eagle, playing in the 2003 RWC, and has 7 international appearances. The three-time All American from the University of California, Berkeley, returned to his alma mater to be an Assistant Coach during 2007/2008. After coaching the Olympic Club 7s team, Matt became the Assis-tant Coach in 2009 and the Head Coach in 2010 at San Diego State. He is currently the Stanford University Head Coach. Matt was the USA U-18 Head Coach in 2008, and since then been the Age Grade Director. He joined the Eagles coaching staff in 2009 as the Backs Coach.

Mike played rugby at the New York Athletic Club (NYAC) for 14 years, and won National Championships with both the Eastern RFC and Eastern Collegiate All Stars. He has coached at Xavier High School for 25 years (Winning 20 Northeastern Champion-ships and four National Championships) as well as NYAC for ten years (Winning three National Championships). He coached the USA U-19 program for eight tours and helped begin the program in 1992. Mike was also the coach for the USA ‘A’ versus England Counties, and has been with the Eagles since 2009.

David played for the USA Eagles from 2004-2007, gaining 12 caps. He also played in the Hong Kong and Singapore 7s tournaments for the USA. David has his Masters in Applied Exercise Science from Springfield College, MA. He as worked as Strength & Conditioning Coach for USA Rugby, covering all Men’s National teams since 2005 and is the Skills and As-sistant Coach for the USA 7s team.

David WilliamsSTRENGTH & CONDITIONING

Chris played rugby and football for San Diego State, becom-ing an All-American in both codes. He was a placekicker for the football team and holds the school record for most consecutive field goals at 25, which was the second longest in the country at the time. Chris had NFL tryouts with the NY Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and Denver Broncos. Chris went on to play in 20 internationals for the Eagles from 1998-1994, scoring 144 points. He began coaching with Jack Clark at UC Berkeley in 1999 and was most recently the Head Coach at Stanford University. For the past two years he has been working with Sean O’Leary and the Notre Dame rugby pro-gram concentrating on the kicking game. Chris has been the Eagles kicking coach since 2010.

ChrisO’BrienKICKING COACH

Tristan has served as the vice-president of USA Rugby from 1997-2000. He has been the Team Manager for the USA Men’s 7s team during the 2005 RWC, as well as the 2009 RWC with the USA Women’s 7s squad. Tristan is affiliated with the Chicago Lions RFC, and was the Midwest RFC vice-president, together with being the Competitions and Territorial Administrator from 1996-2000. This will be his second RWC in an official capacity.

Kevin has coached the University of California Santa Barba-ra for 12 years (Division 1 National Championship 2011); the Southern California Collegiate All Stars for three years; the Southern California Senior Men All Stars for three years; and been the selector and manager for the All Americans since 2007. He has been the Manager of the USA 7s team for five tournaments on the HSBC 7s World Sevens and the 2009 7s RWC. Kevin founded the Santa Barbara Rugby Academy in 2009, America’s first full-time rugby academy.

Dallen played on the HSBC Sevens World Series for the USA from 2006-2009, competing in 13 tournaments. He has since made a career in media - contributing to several rugby websites, and owns PakisCorner.com. Dallen is a member of the Belmont Shore RFC, coaches youth rugby through ELITE Rugby Camp USA, and is one of the coaches for University of Texas Longhorn 7s program. He currently works for the Tackling Cancer Foundation. Dallen was the USA 7s Media Manager for the 2009 7s RWC and joined the Eagles in 2011 ahead of the RWC.

Jarrad played rugby for several clubs: UWIC RFC, Swansea Youth, Cardiff Blues Amateurs, West Wales, Wales Crawshay’s Youth selection and Llanelli Scarlets Academy. He obtained his Masters in Performance Analysis from UWIC. Jarrad has worked with Swansea City RFC, UWIC RFC, the Center for Performance Analysis as well as the South Wales Scorpions Rugby League team. He joined the Eagles staff in 2011.

Mike is a former athletic trainer for the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL. He owns the Impact Sports Performance Center and is the current medical services coordinator for USA Rug-by. He has held this position for five years, and has been on several USA 7s and Eagles tours, including the 2007 RWC.

Alex has been an athletic trainer / physical therapist with USA Rugby since 2003, including the 2005 7s RWC and the 2007 RWC. He has worked with the Chicago Lions RFC and is cur-rently affiliated with the Naples Hammerheads RFC. Alex owns and operates Activo Sports Medicine and Physical Therapy, Inc.

Dr. Patrick McNair was born and raised in Southern California. He is an Orthopedic Surgeon, with dual fellowship training in Sports Medicine and traumatology. He worked as assistant team physician for the Oakland Raiders and San Jose Sharks. Currently he works with USA Rugby, local high schools, and soccer clubs.

Sarah has played rugby for Keystone, Atlantis USA Select 7’s, Brandywine, the University of Delaware and has been Coach of the Henderson girls rugby team for 6 years. She has worked with the USA Women’s U-19 squad, as well as some camps with the USA Women’s 7s team. Sarah has been heavily involved in the Men’s program in recent years, working with the Northeast Rugby Union 7s team as well as the touring Atlantis 7s side. On the national level, Sarah has worked with the USA Men’s 7s side and has been with the Eagles since 2007.

David Schneider MD is a sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon. He completed his residency at Penn State University and his fellowship at Kerlan-Jobe Or-thopedic Clinic in Los Angeles, serving as assistant team physician at USC, and caring for the LA Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, Anaheim Angels and Mighty Ducks. He is an Assis-tant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado and is a physician-owner at OrthoColorado Hospital.
