We came to our area in year 863 from Greek city Thesalonike.

In 9th century we put grounds of Slavonic religion. 5.7. We (in the Czech Republic) celebrate holiday, because of our arrival - Slavonic „Bringers of faith“.

We spoke with old Slavonic language.

At the beginning of our mission we made in Morava firstSlavonic alphabet. It‘s name is Hlaholice.Here is picture…

We procured old slavonic language as worship language. The pontiff Jan Pavel II. in year 1980 called them as patrons of Europe.
