2. Mobile and wireless networks have made tremendous growth in the lastfifteen years. Nowadays many mobile phones have also a WLAN adapter Multimode user terminals are seen as must have for 4G, but differentsecurity mechanisms and different QoS support in different wirelesstechnologies remain a challenge integration among different wireless networks is functioning in practiceeven today. But, different wireless networks from a single terminal areused exclusively, that is, there is no combining of different wirelessaccess technologies for a same session (e.g., FTP download) The 5G terminals will have software defined radios and modulationscheme as well as new error-control schemes can be downloaded fromthe Internet on the run.The development is seen towards the user terminals as a focus ofthe5G mobile networks. The paper also proposes intelligent Internet phone concept where themobile phone can choose the best connections by selected constraintsand dynamically change them during a single end-to-end connection. 3. Developed in 1980s & completed in early 1990s Speed up to 2.4kbps AMPS first launched by US & a 1G mobile systemAllows users to make voice calls in 1 country The analog brick phones and bag phones are under 1G technologyCell phones are used millions and billions of users worldwide The main difference between two succeeding mobile telephonesystems, 1G and 2G, is that the radio signals that 1G networks use areanalog, while 2G networks are digital 1G is only modulated to higher frequency, typically 150 MHz andup. 4. Fielded in the late 1980s & finished in late 1990s Speed up to 64kbps Digital handsets that are used today 2G technology is more efficient voice transmission with digital signal 2G technologies enabled the various mobile phone networksto provide the services such as text messages, picturemessages and MMS (multi media messages) 5. Generation between 2G and 3G 2.5G represents handsets with data capabilities over GPRS Failure in bringing any new evolution 2.5G is a stepping stone between 2G and 3G cellular wirelesstechnologie It does not necessarily provide faster services becausebundling of timeslots is used for circuit switched dataservices (HSCSD) as well. 6. 3G wireless system Speeds from 125kbps-2Mbps Performance in computer networking (WCDMA, WLANBluetooth) & mobile devices area (cell phone & GPS) Data sent through packet switching technology Voice calls interpreted using circuit switching Access to Global Roaming & Clarity in voice calls Fast Communication, Internet, Mobile T.V, VideoConferencing, Video Calls, (MMS), 3D gaming etc 7. 4G wireless system Conceptual framework & discussion point to address futureneeds of a high speed wireless network Both cellular & broadband multimedia services everywhere Expected to emerged around 2010 2015 arrival Smooth global roaming ubiquitously with lower cost. 4G is a conceptual framework and a discussion point toaddress future needs of a high speed wireless network Application are mobile tv,video on demand, videoconferencing etc 8. 5G wireless system Complete wireless communication with almost no limitationMulti-Media Newspapers, watch T.V programs with the clarity asto that of an HD T.V. Faster data transmission that of the previous generations Real wireless world with no more limitation with access and zoneissues. 5G is a completed wireless communication with almost nolimitation; somehow people called it REAL wireless world Cognitive radio tecnology, knowns as smart radio whichdynamically allot frequency when the frequency used by otheruser are not in use. Internet protocol version 6 (IPv6), where a visiting care-of mobileIP address is assigned according to location and connectednetwork 9. 5G : 5th Generation Mobile Technology Change the means to use cell phones within very highbandwidth Advanced features: powerful and in huge demand in future Offers more power & features in hand held phone large phone memory, dialing speed , clarity in audio andvideo etc 10. A new revolution in mobile market World Wide Cellular phones Extra ordinary data capabilities High connectivity Bright future 11. 5G terminals will have software defined radios. New error-control schemes. Access to different wireless technologies. Combine different flows from different technologies. Choice among different wireless/mobile access. Network providers for a given service. 12. Application LayerApplication(Service)Presentation layerSession LayerOpen Transport Protocol Transport LayerUpper network layer Network LayerLower network layer Datalink Layer Open Wireless ArchitecturePhysical Layer 13. Physical and MAC layers (OSI layer 1 and OSI layer 2) definethe wireless technology. For these two layers the 5G mobile networks is likely to bebased on Open Wireless Architecture. 14. All mobile networks will use Mobile IP. Each mobile terminal will be FA A mobile can be attached to several mobile or wirelessnetworks at the same time. The fixed IPv6 will be implemented in the mobile phone Separation of network layer into two sub-layerso Lower network layer (for each interface)o Upper network layer (for the mobile terminal) The middleware between the Upper and Lower networklayers (Fig. 3) maintain address translation from Uppernetwork address (IPv6) to different Lower network IPaddresses (IPv4 or IPv6), and vice versa. 15. Terminals will be suitable to have transport layer that ispossible to be downloaded and installed. Possibility to download (e.g., TCP, RTP etc. or new transportprotocol) version which is targeted to a specific wirelesstechnology installed at the base stations. This is called here Open Transport Protocol - OTP. 16. Intelligent QoS management over variety of networks. Select the best wireless connection for a given service. Service quality testing & storage of measurementinformation in information DB in the mobile terminal. QoS parameters will be stored in a database Intelligent algorithms running in the mobile terminal assystem processes-provide the best wireless connection. 17. High resolution, bi-directional large bandwidth shaping. Advanced billing interfaces: attractive and effective. Subscriber supervision tools for fast action. High quality services based on Policy to avoid error. Large broadcasting of data (GB) supports almost 65,000connections. Transport class gateway with unparalleled consistency. More accuracy by traffic statistics. 18. Remote management :better and fast solution Remote diagnostics 25 Mbps connectivity speed. Virtual private network. All delivery service out of business prospect. High uploading and downloading speed enhanced and available connectivity just about the world. 19. www.FreeWiMaxinfo.comwww.ieee.com/explorerwww.hubpages.com
