• Select a username and password

• Enter your selected username, password and Email address into the fields.

Hint: Your username should be your first name and last initial. If this username is already taken, use the first two letters in your last name.

• Once you have successfully created a username, you will come to this page.

URL of the space you wish to join.

• In the comments section identify yourself (e.g. SMES student)

• Select “Request membership”

• You will receive notification that your request to join has been sent to the space organizers.

• You will have to wait until one of the space organizers approves your request to join.

organizers will receive an email and a notice on the wiki itself that a request to join has been made.

• Approval is as simple as clicking a link to approve.

• A confirmation message will appear once the member has been approved.

• Each approval will take a few seconds. Let each selection finish before approving the next request.

now approved. They should see the wikispace name appear under “My Spaces” when they are logged into wikispaces.

• They may select this link to begin working on the wikispace.
